  1. try this website https://www.whatsinport.com/Kota-Kinabalu.htm I didn't like Kota Kinabalu - not much to do there really unless you hike up Mount Kinabalu which you can't because you're not there long enough. It's good for eating and shopping. Market is there but they are active very early in the morning and it's not really very interesting. There is a mosque that looks like it's floating in the water (but it isn't). Cost money to go in to take a photo! Be warned. Lots of shopping centres.
  2. If you self disembark meaning you carry everything off yourself, you can disembark the earliest. Don’t choose to leave your luggage outside your stateroom the night before
  3. Thanks Hank We’ve not really considered car rental as it’s just too complicated to collect the car and try to navigate ourselves The private tours have quoted us between 290-350 euros for the trip Now considering staying in Lisbon We’ve been to Lisbon before but I’m sure there’s plenty to do still Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  4. We were thinking of Obidos, Bathala and Nazaré Sent from my iPhone using Forums

  6. Keith, do you know if there are taxis or tours available at the port gates for going out to places like the villages? Basically are there touts waiting to pounce on you? [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  7. Does anyone know if there are taxis or tours available once we arrive at the port? We are interested in going to Óbidos and other villages. It’s quite expensive with private tours at the moment as there are only 4 of us . Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  8. We took the ships tour Seville on your own which basically transferred us to Seville and we had time to ourselves The alcazar is closed Mondays so we didn’t go there but the rest is pretty good - cathedral, plaza de España etc. Nice place well worth doing for the day Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  9. Flew Orlando to London Gatwick in January no problems. Besides not having entertainment screens it was worth the cheap fare. Flying with them next January to Singapore as they were by far the cheapest and they were flying direct Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  10. We have been here years ago and don’t remember much of the town but we wondered if it was worth doing a trip out - anyone been here and done anything they would recommend? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  11. Did you use the Tuk Tuk till you went back to the ship? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  12. Was it a standard itinerary for cruise ships or did you specify where you wanted to go? And what was the cost please Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  13. Indian rupees are only available in India. Not allowed to take their currency out of the country- that’s why you can’t buy it abroad Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  14. Yeah I was thinking of using them. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  15. Has anyone done this trip to Santiago de Compostela? Any recommendations on how to get there and back? (besides using the ship's excursion)
