Also told her her website was horrendous, that I couldn’t find the address on the website. She sounded surprised...yeah, right

Called them and asked if my letter would get to them since I addressed it to the Elliott address. She said they are no longer forwarding mail to the new address, 450 Third Ave. I guess if will wait to see if it comes back to me. In not, I will call and see if they got it. I requested a confirmation email once the OBC is posted. We will see

I hate to open this up again, but the HAL website is so horrible, I cannot even find the address or fax number for World Cruise Reservations. Used to be so easy to find before they revamped their website into something totally useless. I am looking to snail mail the stock information. Does anyone have the address for World Cruise Reservations. Wish I had a fax machine...ha!

We did the $100 off $500 on our Delta Amex, used both our cards. It is showing up now on our Blue Sky Amex, which we have let go dormant. If we take the offer on our Blue Sky Amex, I wonder if the insurance coverage, which comes with your card if you book the whole trip on the card, is voided

You know what....every single HAL cruise we have been on has been wonderful(we are 3 star, close to 4 star and have a 21 day cruise on for January). You make the most of every experience. If you are not into rock climbing walls, water slides, constant music, games and announcements, you will love HAL. We have never been bored, have loved everything offered and keep coming back for more. You will be fine

I have traveled with my full size CPAP, sailed on the Konningsdam with it last summer. I now have the travel AirMini that does not use water for humidity, it has a humidity disc. I have traveled with it several times and it is so much easier to use. Not sure what I would do if it stopped functioning, but the company I bought it from has stellar 24/7 customer service and I am sure they would walk me through any troubleshooting I would need to do. They respond within an hour to phone calls and within minutes to text messages

The only thing you get from a suite below the Neptune or Pinnacle suite is double suite days and concierge services. And of course , more room. Dress for dining has become less formal, even on gala(formal)nights. Collared shirt and nice pants are minimum. You get nothing for your sailing from Princess except a 1 star mariner status if you have never sailed HAL before

We were on it last year and it did not

Why would you spend valuable vacation time doing laundry when you can fill a bag(and get a lot of clothes in the bag) for $20. My time is worth way more than that

You are lucky if you can even get that far online. I can’t choose a cabin or book a guarantee. The circle just keeps spinning no matter what

I would avoid the adjoining cabin location. We sailed with family and had the adjoining cabin and we could hear conversations. Only time on all my HAL sailings I could hear neighbors

There are no double cabin credits for FCC, there is double OBC. The only double “cabin credits” are the double mariner credits for suites

I always take a lightweight fleece jacket on any cruise we go on. The ship can be cold and it feels good to wear it. Also, you just never know when you will have a cooler than usual day when you wish you would have had it

Prices went down again...craziness. Called my PCC this morning and got the Mariner’s Private Sale price, plus our casino discount for an aft Vista Suite(we get double cruise credits, right). Very happy with the amount of money saved and the location of the cabin. What is so crazy is that when we booked the Neptune last winter, the difference between the Neptune and the Vista Suite was around $1500/pp...why not do the Neptune at that amount of difference? Now the difference is twice that! Anyway, we kissed the Neptune goodbye and said hello the the Vista Suite.

The deck plan of the Veendam shows a New York Pizza aft by the retreats

It looks like the decision was made for us. The lower price is no longer available...a case of “you snooze, you lose”. In fact, I think the price of the Vista Suites went up, which makes our Neptune a better deal as we have prepaid gratuities and extra OBC. We are ok with the decision as it would have been hard to let the Neptune go for a 21 day journey!!!!

I believe the information is in the “already booked” section of “know before you go”

Thanks for the pictures. The aft corner vista suite looks like a Neptune. The rest of the Vista Suites do not have a big sitting area like that. They look more like a veranda cabin on the other ships we have sailed.

I think if you do Luggage Direct and have your luggage taken care of so you don’t have to lug it off the ship or go through luggage check in, do priority self embarkation and take Uber or Lyft to the airport, you should be able to get out of the car, take your carry ons and go right to TSA and should have no problem making the flight

B2B is 21 day Authentic Cuba and Southern Caribbean. Not a whole lot of sea days. Price for Vista Suite is half that of the Neptune, minus $300 OBC and prepaid gratuities. Hard to pass that up, so it is, more or less, deciding if the perks and extra space is worth it for 21 days. Hard to decide

We are booked in a Neptune for a 21 day B2B cruise and the Neptune Suites are sold out for the cruise(January 2019). There has been a pretty drastic price drop for the rest of the cabins and we are contemplating switching to a Vista Suite. Ship is the Veendam. We have never sailed on an R class ship and it appears the Vista Suites are just like the regular balconies on the larger ships. Small bathroom and small balcony, no real sitting room. We are looking at an aft cabin. It is right under the retreat. We would lose OBC and prepaid gratuities if we changed. We have been in a Neptune once before in a corner aft and loved it. It looks like there are no extra amenities for the Vista Suites other than telephone concierge services. I know we are the only ones to decide if the switch is worth is(there is a huge difference), but really wanting to know if the Vista Suites are anything special. And do you still get double cruise credits?

What is that service called? Is it different than Luggage Direct? Can you just do it one way, or does it have to be round trip?

We made two payments of $500 each for $100 back per payment with the Delta Skymiles. Today we made two payments of $750 each for $150 cash back per payment on our Blue Sky Amex. Both payments have been made before final payment. We got an email advising us of our cash back within minutes. I made the payments online
