  1. Re the Pursuit visit, I thought the ship looked fantastic. It is understated and elegant. Richard Twynam was an excellent host. The food was superb and the staff so friendly and efficient. Really looking forward to embarking tomorrow!

  2. Thanks for your reply. Today's visit must be slightly different to the LCV visit on 31st as it includes lunch, which I believe is in Aqualina. Hope it's not just pastries!

  3. Riocca has taken time out of his holiday to keep everyone updated and as a result this has resulted in official clarification of the current position. That is to be applauded. Keep up the good work and keep posting for the benefit of us all!

  4. Thank you for your speedy reply uktog. We are on the Pursuit's maiden voyage. There are only two official sea days. On day three we do not arrive in Oslo until 7pm so hopefully they will consider that to be a sea day! My other thought is that as it is a maiden voyage they will not have sorted something like that out quite so soon.

  5. I seem to remember reading somewhere that such things exist on Azamara cruises. Does anyone know whether this is the case? If so, is it just on certain cruises? Many thanks in advance of your being able to assist.

  6. Thank you all for your helpful responses. The trip is by train up and back down Shopperfiend. I am wondering if it has proved so popular that they have put on a second tour which will necessitate a later departure of the ship. I am surprised that it is taking so long to confirm that, however, as I assume the later ship departure would have been decided before the timing of the tour was changed. Uktog: not sure I would fancy going down the mountain on a tuk tuk!
