We just booked a fly, Snooze cruise package that will take us to cocoa beach and bring us back to the airport after the cruise. I wanted to be on the beach the day before and we arrive in MCO by 9 am. Thanks for all the suggestions.

We are cruising in Sept on the Oasis. What is best option for a hotel the night before and best transportation to the cruise port? Is Uber an option? Are they allowed on the pier? We usually cruise from Fort Lauderdale so this is a new port for us. Thank you

We booked our March cruise on the Breakaway through CAS. Besides a rate we were happy with are there any perks like getting cash without the fee? Thanks for the help.

Just got home from our wonderful cruise on Anthem of the Seas. We spent the night at Holiday Inn ExpressEast Greenbush (Albany Skyline). Hotel was clean and reasonably priced. It shares a parking lot with a sports bar and grill which serves good pub food. Not far from Yankee Trails World Travel where we parked the car and boarded the bus to Bayonne cruise port for $45 each way per person. We left at 7 am and arrived at 10:15 with a 15 minute break on the thruway.This morning he was at the port dropping of this weeks cruisers and we were on the way at 10:00am. We will definately use them again and will recommend them to anyone if you don't want to drive!

Not Carol, but we are using Yankee Trails bus out of Rensselaer. $90 a person and they drop you off and pick you up at the port. We are from the Syracuse area and are using the service for the first time next Sunday. In the past we have stayed on Staten Island and Elizabeth New Jersey and really don't like driving in the traffic! Hopefully this works well, I will let you know how it was when we get back.

I just got off phone purchasing the gin and tonic package. 4 cans of tonic and a 375 ml bottle of Bombay Saphire gin. Very easy to do on the phone because the Internet wouldn't let me do it.

We have reservations at the Holiday Inn Express. It is about 1.5 miles from the bus. You are right about getting off the ship and heading right home, but the stress free drive is a better way to end a vacation. Thank you for your great information and help...Ellen

SSimon-where do you live in central NY? We live near Ithaca and used to stay on Staten Island the night before our cruise. Now we book with Yankee Trails on their cruise express. We drive to Albany and leave our car at their business and take their bus right to the cruise port. $90 a person and depending on where you live and if you hate driving in cities( I do) this could be an option? Just putting it out there as a possible other option.

Laura, do you drive down the day of and catch the bus, or do you stay the night before? If you stay where do you stay? The bus people are connected with a Comfort Inn but not sure I want that one, the reviews are really not that great.

Thank you, thank you! You saved us lots of stress and heartburn! We will look at Hilton Garden next time we cruise from Bayonne. But will definatey check on the bridge!

Carol, I am on the phone right now cancelling the reservation. The hotel says I have just a room and connected me to 1-800 number and they say I have park and cruise! I cancelled reservation and will book through Trinity Reservations if we decide to stay down there. Thank you for pushing me to check reservation before I got there and didn't get what I thought I had!

I called direct to hotel and they transferred my call to reservations. I'm still not sure so later this evening I'm going to call the hotel direct again and ask very specific questions. The reservation people both times confirmed that the parking and transportation were included..

Hi Carol, I just called the Ramada EWR and got a rate of 161.51....that rate is suppose to be the stay cruise with transportation. I called again since my reservation does not say stay cruise but was assured it was. Not sure I trust it. If I need to get own transportation to the port do you know how much it will be? I appreciate the advice to change from Staten Island....Ellen

Just booked a cruise from Port Liberty on March 5 and made hotel reservations at Hilton Garden on Staten Island. It included parking for length of cruise and transportation to and from cruise port. Are we going to have trouble with the bridge closure? I asked and she told me that there was periodic closures, how does that affect the transportation? Thanks. Ellen

We were on same sailing and our "extra" points showed up about 3-4 days after the first posting. I was going to call but checked and they were there. It gave us our diamond plus status!

It was the Mediterranean menu. Very nice meal. We did not have reservations around 7:00 and no problem getting seated but they were recommending reservations.

We ate at Solarium Bistro on Oasis last week and for dinner it was complementary. At the end of dinner he gave us a receipt that we needed to sign with a balance of zero $ and zero cents. Only cost us a ti Percent!

We are in the same JS on the Oasis next week. Hope someone lets us know how it is!

Thanks for the answers I was hoping for! Not only TSA pre check but quicker at customs in the cruise port was what convinced my husband to get it! Hopefully other ports follow Port Everglades and get it!

We have just received our Global Entry cards and wondered if we can use it at Port Everglades? When we went for our interview the agent didn't know anything about entry from a cruise ship.

I always carry my paperwork with us so if there are any issues I have a copy of what I booked. Thank you for the answers.

I am following. We also purchased the cruise when Voom first came out and were wondering which Voom we will got when we sail the Oasis at the end of the month. Hopefully someone knows.

We were given Voom as a perk when we booked our Oasis cruise in August. So do we assume it is the basic Voom? It was a JS perk.....
