We booked an Anthem cruise for the end of April....last minute booking. We have dynamic dining...does this mean we have to book every dinner every night or can we just wing it? We also have Oasis booked and haven't booked any dinners there either...we just like being able to decide last minute or at least the day of where we want to eat. Not too worried about going hungry, but if we don't make reservations will we always have to eat dinner in the windjammer?

We booked a guarantee balcony last week and knew we were on deck 12 midship within the hour.

I just called to have my mlife added to our Anthem cruise. It was very easy....they contacted mlife to confirm we are gold members. We are set to go!

This would not be a good thing for us! We booked our August Oasis cruise to reach D+. If they Change things with no notice we would be very upset! The Oasis cruise will be our most expensive cruise we have taken!

But if you get lower price don't you risk the "perks" you got when originally booked? We booked the Oasis during the 4 point a night promotion and wondered if we find a lower price wouldn't we loose the promotion?

I only know about suite guest getting free luggage valet where you sign up thru the concierge for your specific airline carrier, sorry I do not know all the lines and if your flight departs after 11:30am from Fll you are eligible.

 

You put your luggage out the night before with the special airline tags and you pick your bags up at your final destination.

 

I do not know the process for other cabin categories.

We are also in a Neptune Suite on the Westerdam in 2 weeks....you said you like not having to give up your luggage on the last night. What do you mean?

Haven't cruised Royal since last year...we are true gold card members through M Casinos in Vegas and true diamonds on Royal. It was we could get cash at the casino from our account with no fee. Is this still true or have they changed that?

I booked through them this morning and was told I could not have both OBC and suite discount. I took the OBC for $300.00. I agree we are buying points but these points put us at Diamond plus. I'm sure we will never reach pinnacle so we will just be happy with diamond plus. The cruises have seemed high anyways so now I won't feel bad about shopping around!

FYI ... If you take the $300 OBC. You do not get the suite discount!

Thank you for the review. We are going on the Westerdam on 1-2-16 and have been looking for reviews. We are excited to be back on her. We usually cruise RC and Celebrity but did enjoy the Westerdam in 2012. Branching out and great rate for our cruise. Glad she is in good shape and any cruise is a great one if you don't expect perfection!

No, it hasn't changed and no, there is no service charge.

Great news....no charge. Makes it safer not to carry Cash to play slots, but makes it easy to overspend!

The last time we were on the Westerdam (2012) we were able to use our sea pass in the slot machines which charged our credit card . Has this changed and if so is there the three percent charge?

Do you think the pre-refurbishments such as the laundry and mimosas for in room breakfast will be implemented starting in January?

Just back from a great cruise to Bermuda and we did stay at the Holiday Inn Staten Island. We booked a park and cruise and it included breakfast. The hotel is in an area with other new hotels...Holiday Inn Express and a Comfort Inn. They are all adjoined by the same parking lot. The room was very clean, and typical Holiday Inn. No surprises! The hotel has the only restaurant for all 3 hotels so it can get busy at breakfast. There is a Wendy's across the parking lot and you could drive to Dunkin Donuts if you wanted. We had a pickup at 10 to get to the port and the drive was about 20 minutes. We asked to be picked up at 9 after the cruise and the driver was there about 9! We were happy with this hotel and will probably use them again when we cruise out of Bayonne.

I can tell you the park and cruise price for 2 including breakfast and shuttle plus parking for 7 days is $249.00 then approximately $40.00 in taxes for a total of $289.00. I will post back after we stay here for the cruise leaving June 21. We at this point feel the cost is cheaper than staying in New Jersey since the cost of a hotel plus $140.00 transportation round trip. I hope this is a good option for cruisers.

We are staying here for the night before our cruise out of Port Cape Liberty. We are leaving our car and they are providing free transportation to and from the port. Has anyone done this? Is it a safe location to leave the car? How was the shuttle service? I have looked and can't find any comments about this hotel.

Is Blu only for Aqua all the time or just for dinner? We are elite and in concierge class room. Just wondering for a nicer breakfast choice than buffet.

We just made reservations at the Hampton Inn and Suites at Newark Airport. They have a park package and we will contact a car service to get to the Port. Has anyone stayed here and what was your opinion? Thanks....Ellen
