I would bet that, if offered, some people would love to sail around Africa.

I've heard that its 60 days out.

I was able to connect my frequent flyer number as soon as the flt was assigned. Log into your account and look under "My trips" then "find a trip", add the locator and it will find you.

Tried to take my photo, many times yesterday, tucked hair behind my ears, tried cotton ball, even my DH hearing aids and they still don't show!! Wonder if Walmart has modeling clay or something?

Who are you sailing with? On the Regent section is a letter under "Brazil e-visa assistants" that might help.

We finally got our flt schedule for early Mar. Now I need to start paying more attention to this. Can we do both at the same time on the same computer with the same sign in??

I just want to wrap those babies up in a big towel and dry them off.

Which cruise are you on? We are on the Voyager on Mar 9. Don't have our flts yet, so can't even start.
"the inside cabin" on South America category has a blog which could help.

We just got off the Spirit, I believe one of the non-sailing ships will be doing that route then. We definitely used the inclusive package, if you drink at all, it is worth it, drinks are about $10 each, wifi worked fine in our cabin, not so much in restaurants, our flt was rescheduled so didn't get an overnight on landing, only a few hours of sleep. We were on the 10 day, water was rough going & coming from the Tuamotus, but it was worth having more time on the ship after long flts getting to Tahiti. We were there in "rainy season" but most of our days were ok, the week prior had most tours canceled for weather. It was nice to have shuttles from airport to hotel, to ship, back to hotel and airport. Gratuities are $16 pp per day which was included.

It seems like this thread has been going forever and now the adventure truly starts. Have a wonderful time.

Don't know if its still there but, at the pier in Haines was a tiny restaurant called "just for the halibut" best fishi & chips we've ever had. Probably gone now, but worth checking.

Lirio, I sure hope it won't be that hot when we are down there in Mar.

We have one kitty who we've been giving fluids to for almost 5 years for her kidney disease, she's fine otherwise, a week ago our other kitty had been acting weird and hiding all the time, so had to take her in, anal gland problem, better now, both are almost 15 yr old. We know how rough it is when a furbaby is having problems, Sassi, Skoshi & I are sending good thoughts to Marino! Let us know.

Maybe it's just me, but I prefer the simplicity of Japanese temples and gardens.

Be very thankful that you got the upgrade the deck 6 Vista suites were a real pain, had to go up a deck to the other end of the ship to go down to get off at ports, reverse coming back on. It was faster to go back to our cabin to use the loo when up in the library, than to go down several decks and try to find one there. oh well, one & done for that ship.

Spirit Nov 27.

Just thought of something else, does the snorkel gear come in a bag? Should I bring a "dry bag" for clothes/towels on excursions? I'll probably come up with more questions before our late Nov cruise.

Thank you!

Don't know if this has been answered before, but, are there any stops on the Tahiti and Tuamotu Islands cruise where you can just walk from the tender stop/dock to snorkel we hate to be limited to shore excursions.
-
How can I use my OBC to pay for shore excursions in advance or do I have to wait until we sail? (Nov 27)?

We have the included beverage pkg, what does that include?

We just got an email from RSS about our Voyager cruise Mar 9, not required, but suggest everyone gets a covid test 3 days prior. Does their insurance cover if you test positive then??
