  1. I have an upcoming cruise and have an appointment for testing. I will GLADLY cancel the appointment the moment Royal drops pre-cruise testing! Vaccinated and double boosted here.
  2. Subject Line: "Scott, Time’s Running Out [Claim Your FREE Verandah Stateroom]" Same email as RSW above. I've not sailed on HAL since March 2019. On sister line Princess I sailed March 2020 and February 2022. I did not favorite any cruises and can't remember when I was last on the HAL website. Dockman - I use my complimentary companion Delta ticket each year via my Amex credit card.
  3. My complimentary offer was for an obstructed verandah cabin. On Konigsdam this means that the lifeboats will be directly BELOW our cabin. Not very obstructed in my opinion! As posted before, HAL does not need to entice 4 & 5 star Mariners to book, they already have them in their pocket. If you do not believe your benefits are consistent with your level of loyalty choose a different line. Airlines perform the same way regarding frequent flyer status. They've convinced business flyers to be loyal to a particular airline, but return little in benefits. If I want to fly upfront in first/business I simply pay for it, I wouldn't chance relying on a status upgrade.
  4. Mary229 - No idea why I was targeted. I'm two star with HAL, we've booked inside and verandah cabins. No expensive spa or shorex. Today I received an email survey from HAL that will take twenty or thirty minutes to complete. Trying to influence my responses?
  5. Yesterday I received a targeted email offering a COMPLIMENTARY verandah (obstructed) cabin. HAL has many cruises this summer and into fall. Alaska, New England and a few out of Europe. We booked Konigsdam out of Vancouver this morning, too good to pass up. Anyone else get this email and book a cruise?
  6. Hate to assume anything but does HAL handle the luggage or do we lug it ourselves for the bus transfer?
  7. FINALLY! I have a European cruise in July and didn't want to waste my precious time fitting a Covid test into our schedule. Especially since we both have had the two original Moderna shots and two boosters. It was great flying domestically last week without a mask.
  8. I'm not a fan of work arounds, but this solved my purchasing problems. Used Microsoft Edge, first clearing my cookies, then booked each shorex individually. Yeah! We can now go on some Royal shorex!
  9. I'm in the same boat. Can't give them my money! I will try deleting and doing one at a time on a different browser. Chrome doesn't seem to work for me this time. UGH!
