  1. I have a Princess.com account. I had a Captain's Circle number that has been changed to a different number (and just learned today thanks to another post that it's the same as my HAL loyalty number). When this happened Princess merged the two accounts and each account had it's own cruise history. My current number now has all the correct information. However when I sign into Princess.com my old number still shows up and it has no cruise history linked to it so I don't know if I'm possibly missing out on potential savings when looking for a cruise to book since I'm a repeat customer. I have called and done chats at least three times to get my Princess.com account corrected with the new CC number. The first couple of times I was told it was fixed and it wasn't. This last time I was told to re-register on the website and the information would correct itself. Of course I cannot use my email as the system says I already have an account. I'm afraid if I try to re-register with a different email that this mess will be made worse. I don't know how hard it is to fix this but I can't seem to get to anyone who can. Any suggestions of what department I need to speak to? TIA
  2. I looked at it a couple of times. I would say sandwiches at lunch time and pastries in the early afternoon. Each time the sandwiches were different but I can't attest to the pastries.
  3. I just came off the Island recently. The Good Spirits Bar had a glass covered food cart next to the windows near the bar that had pastries and small sandwiches throughout the day. Not easy to see when walking by.
  4. I got an email today from Princess and not only do I have a cabin assignment but an upgrade to boot. Thanks all!
  5. We are happy with our room selection as that fits into our budget. I just didn't know if they offered a free upgrade at check-in if they have overbooked that category and wondered if getting the opportunity to be offered one (if what I just mentioned is even a thing) would be greater if we checked-in earlier or later. I'm just glad to be going on vacation! :') I booked directly through princess.com. Looking on the Cruise Personalizer if I pull up my luggage tag it reads that my stateroom is to be assigned. Looks like I'll be making a phone call in the morning.
  6. I guess I sort of misspoke. We have a guaranteed inside booking but no assigned cabin yet. Many moons ago we had done the same type of booking on a different cruise line and were upgraded for free to an outside cabin. On the Medallion app it says our deck is pending and there is no cabin number assigned.
  7. My husband and I will be on the Island Princess leaving Southampton on Oct 30. We have a guaranteed cabin but no assignment. Would we fare better if we embark early to get a good cabin location assignment or should we embark late and see if our cabin class is checked-in full with the potential of a free upgrade? Any thoughts? TY
