  1. I love it. We were the only ship today at Coco cay on Wonder, which is rare now a days and man was it great being one ship. Hideaway is definitely our favorite and with one ship and lots of kids on Wonder, Hideaway was never packed and wonderful. I even found a 10 year aged whistle pig bourbon which I was shocked to see. I found it interesting though that currently they don't allow any shots, straight liqueur, neat, during "spring break".
  2. So I booked 150 central at full price via the app when I got on board for tonight (night 2). So I didn't talk to anyone making the res, so I'm thinking I just tell the waiter at the start of dinner tonight I want to use my bogo on my wife?
  3. I'm just going to use the bogo on one dinner tonight I think. I'm guessing when the waiter is asking about the check, that's when I tell him we want to use our diamond plus bogo?
  4. I think maybe we'll do that. Just book 150 central for night 2 and basically pay for 1 of us. That would work, right?
  5. Ah that makes sense, so we would have to do a dinner tonight on night 1 and then another one night two to make it work?
  6. Help please. My wife and I are on Wonder, and just booked Chops for tomorrow night. We're both diamond plus. To use the bogo, I want to then use the free on 150 central on night to 5 which I booked through the app. Do I just have to tell them on night 2 in chops and it'll work out for night 5 at 150 if I pay full price at chops on night 2?
  7. Up to this point, we're on Wonder in a lite over a week and April 1st, cruise mapper still has Wonder as the only ship in Coco cay. I assume cruise mapper doesn't update with all these ships being shuffled around, but is there anyway to tell if one of the other ships swapped out Labadee for the Coco cay day since it's rare for only 1 ship to be there lately?
  8. I think you've had more glasses of milk in this trip report than I've had in the last 15 years combined lol
  9. Not sure if interested, but I figure with you on this sailing, you may not see it, but you may have an offer in your Royal caribbean casino portal that might interest you. If your account qualified, handful of Utopia sailings this summer from Port Canaveral. My account had one and my wife did so we were able to book a back to back on her. Just as a heads up! Loving the report!
  10. Good point. Edge class I would picture being a similar experience, especially since most are 7 day cruises.
  11. It's interesting seeing some of the "entertainment". My wife and I always had considered Celebrity but have never made the jump from Royal, but being close to your age, I'm not sure how much we'd enjoy it. The entertainment so far makes me think we may be bored on the ship. Maybe not, but just my initial thoughts so far based on what's been available.
  12. Just had the realization that your last live, I was getting on a ship when it ended. This time around, I still have a handful of weeks before getting on my prime Wonder cruise. Sigh. Loving vicariously through you though and I love it!
  13. What is this fan nonsense? We have our first ever Carnival cruise booked later this year. I've always brought a fan with on all our Royal sailings, are you saying carnival confiscates fans during boarding??
  14. Never sailed celebrity but will be following along 😊
  15. I can't complain! We hit the 4k point level after night 2 and since nothing was on the 6500 level, called it quits in the casino and booked an 8 nt on oasis next February down to Aruba. Lost about $900 total to get it. Worst part was I was at 3,100 pts needing 900 more, and we were up like $500 at the time, but that final 900 points was rough.
  16. You weren't kidding about the piano player in schooner. He's incredible and we've been here almost every night
  17. I doubt you'll see much snorkeling, it's like carved out and they have a buoy so you can't go out too far. Snack shack has a few additional offerings like coconut shrimp and ceviche. Heated infinite pool is wonderful.
  18. Considering our options for our next casino cruise. Options are one of the forward facing oceanview rooms or a more traditional oceanview.. Oasis of the seas. Which one would be better? The main downside of the forward facing rooms l feel like is the long walk but the room may be slightly larger?
  19. Agreed. We have it also booked next month on wonder. We got there around 9 and was able to get 2nd row by the pool with two ships in Port, us on oasis and freedom
  20. Onboard had I booked Hideaway, it was listed at $124.99. Crazy since we booked it for $29.99
  21. Yes. That's one of the major selling points of Hideaway is it's heated. If you've been in the Oasis pool in January/February, it's like ice water.
  22. But yes, on the honest side, Royal 100% did a nice job with this area. Just turn the dang water temp down a tad bit lol
  23. .. Until next time 😊 currently sitting pool side and totally worth the money. Plenty of space whether you want to be by the pool or down on the ocean. Music volume isn't bad and we're right by the dj. No kids. The couple different food options, like the coconut shrimp, were delicious. My only "complaint" would be the heated pool could be a few degrees colder than it is, as it's like bath water even at 9am, but the ice cold ocean cools you off real quick. Another fantastic area at Coco Cay!
  24. What point list did you end up landing on for your sailing? Any early idea of the sailing you're going to choose?
