I've cruised many times pre-Covid and we've always arrived at the port at around 11-11:30 and have been able to get on the ship fairly quickly and easily.
I have not cruised post-Covid -- I know we have to check in on the app and choose an arrival time now. So, I have a couple of questions about this:
1) Do you have to log in the second check-in opens to get the early spots?
2) Are the check-in times even enforced? Let's say I get stuck with a 1PM check in time -- will I be able to get on the ship if I get to the port at 11:30?
I understand the answers may be subjective and speculation, but if anybody has any personal experience one way or another I would appreciate the advice!
The cruise is out of Fort Lauderdale in May on the Adventure of the Seas if that makes a difference. Thank you!
