  1. And no other offers or options come with it? Does it say you can cancel at no charge?
  2. I know people on the TA cruises have received letters with offers from Celebrity .... has anyone booking on a Caribbean sailing on Reflection received an email, yet? If so, can you copy and paste it? TIA!!
  3. Can anyone recommend a restaurant in FLL that has good food and good prices for a group of 8? (bonus would be a restaurant with a view of the ocean). I've done my own research (on TripAdvisor and such), but all of the places I looked at were super expensive! TIA!
  4. Don't stress. Just go to the show when you're on the ship and they will let you in.
  5. Does anyone know what the largest table size would be at Chops Grill? (Adventure of the Seas) Thank you!!
  6. Gotcha! Well, we will be ready with all of our luggage in the lobby waiting for them to arrive!
  7. Well, they are picking us up from our hotel -- so, we will definitely be there!!
  8. Yikes! Thanks for that info. I'll be sure to follow my scheduled pick up closely and hopefully that won't happen!
  9. Interesting! Well, for $23 I was happy to lock in the ride with Lyft.
  10. I was just working on scheduling a ride share from my hotel in Fort Lauderdale to the cruise port. The rate I was quoted from Uber was almost twice as expensive as Lyft! ($23 vs $42). Does this seem normal? If you are planning to use rideshare in Fort Lauderdale make sure you check prices from both!
  11. I think that if you input dates into the query you actually get more results!
  12. Possibly so. I only know it was not like this on my last cruise in April 2018. I had also not seen any discission about it on CC, but that's probably because I wasn't on CC much around Covid and the birth of my 3 1/2 year old (knowing it would be a while before I was able to cruise again!)
  13. Unfortunately, it's been a while since I've cruised. Thanks for your helpful response.
  14. My brother and his family just boarded the Wonder yesterday. They said they had to retrieve their Seapass cards from their stateroom door. I had not heard of this, yet! I searched CC and found it had been discussed a few times. Is this a fleetwide thing? I'm going to miss getting my Seapass first thing before boarding the ship!! I look forward to that and hearing the "bong" as you scan your card and board! 🙂
  15. Not to be unkind, but I think the amount of special requests has probably gotten out of hand. Nobody wants to just take the assignment they are just given anymore. You used to request a table size when you (or your TA) made your booking and you just got what you got and were happy with it. The reality is that cruising has changed and everyone has their own personal preferences and seem to demand that those preferences get met.
  16. This has been done forever; it's nothing new. There are perfectly valid reasons for doing this, regardless of whether you understand or agree.
  17. Can't you skip inputting most of those details an only choose your check-in time? (and go back later and upload the photo, credit card number, etc.). I'm asking this especially for those times when you are helping to check in others in your group for them. Thanks!
  18. Nothing like ending your vacation with stress and panic!
  19. Is it correct that I can check in others who are linked to me fairly quickly and easily (and I can skip entering all of the details like picture, credit card number, etc.)?
  20. Your comment is way out of line. You seem to forget that congress people are elected officials. Their job is to serve their constituents - not to live fancy lives in DC and not help the people they are supposed to serve. Why shouldn't a congress person help out? What, exactly, do you think they should be doing with their time? This is their job!! To help people with all kinds of needs -- not to be out living Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. Let's also not forget how much we pay in taxes -- government officials work for us! OP has every right to utilize what their tax dollars are spent on!
  21. Prices with ANYTHING go up with demand. It's not ripping off the customer -- it's simple suppy and demand.
  22. So, you just get in line to get on a tender, correct? You don't have to get a number or something ahead of time or at any point during the process? I feel like this was exactly how it's always been done, so it sounds like it's all still the same process.
  23. Can anyone tell me RCL's current process for tendering in Belize? Do you have to get a number? Line up at the crack of dawn? Etc. I know our ship is the only one in port that day, so hopefully that helps things! Thank you!!
