Hi Jamman in your opinion is Cabana #4 in Half Moon Cay one of the closest to the BBQ lunch. I had knee surgery want to know if I will have to walk much. I was looking at your Splendor review also..I shall be on the Splendor in May...

Please can other Ports be added to Caribbean out of New York City.
Tired of Nassau, Grand Turks, Half Moon Cay,Freeport, and Port Canaveral loved them but would love to go to other ports I just don't fly, so NY is very convenient for me..

Hi Mitsugirly, I love your review and I feel like I know you and your family. Isn't that weird...:p

When you go to your booking it will state it under My Orders:

Thanks Esty, yes we are aware of that, but I had posted in a prior post as to why I think FTTF is great. My husband also has a bad back and it is very hard for us to carry around our carry-on. Lots of medicine, CPax machine. We purchase it so we can deliver all that to our cabin as soon as we board..Thanks for the info anyway always useful...

I have OsteoArthritis in my left knee, had it in the right knee too, just had a total knee replacement. I have Systemic lupus which affects almost all my joints. In order for me to enjoy cruising I must rent a scooter. Sometimes because of the way some people are I feel very self conscious using the scooter. I am able to walk short distance, but my knees give out on me. When at the elevator I wait my turn and if elevators look all very pack I just push away and continue waiting eventually I am able to get in. I don't want any special attention,at the lido I ask my daughter or husband to get what I need. Having said all this what I do at embarkation is that I order FTTF and I go in a suite. Yes it is very much more than what my husband and I need but we do it out of necessity. It is very hard for people with disability to get around I have learn this the hard way. Your mind wants to do so much but your body says something else. People without disability just have alittle patience with us we mean well we just want to have alittle fun as best as we can..

I have cruised the last two years, and I have been either on a Grand Suite or an Ocean Suite on Carnival Splendor. I was checking for a family member a reservation and noticed that almost all Grand suites and a whole lot of Ocean Suites are still available this late in February, usually there are so little of them left. I was just wondering just strange that nobody has purchased any of these cabins..

That's terrible I feel for those that missed their cruise. You plan and plan
then the unexpected happens.

Yes that sound better definitely don't do hotel in Long island City it is very industrial over there. I am originally from Queens and definitely that part is very scary especially at night.

Last year my niece used Dia7 for her transfer to EWR from the cruise
terminal. She made her reservation, but they told her to call one hour before she leave ship cause if they have to wait for you they will start charging you extra from what they quote you. So please make sure I work for the Limo industry for many years and having a limo wait becomes very very expensive when they start to add waiting time. This is something people sometimes don't understand. Its better for you to wait for them and not they wait for you..

Splendor almost to the Verrenzano Bridge.

Hey all Carnival Splendor just departed NYC at 4:00 PM. Hope all made their trip, cause weather in NYC is very terrible. Happy cruising safe trip...

Sometimes when I read things like this I feel like we are at the mercy of all employees on a cruise. If and when we have some kind of complain about another employee I feel that whomever we approche seems to take an attitude I guess maybe because it is their co worker. Maybe I am wrong but that is how I feel when I read such things.

Thanks all for the warm wishes...

Yes yes yes I did final payment yesterday, was due on Feb. 26th...
I can't wait for May 12...Carnival Splendor here I come...
-
I feel like many others I believe that we pay for what we want. I don't drink don't gamble, but I love to cruise meet lots of people different ports.
I am partially disable so my poor husband is left to carry most of the day all of our carry-ons. It becomes very hard for him so I simply love the FTTF. Sometimes it is a necessity..

Hey all I am so excited I just finished paying my cruise I am all checked in, just waiting for May 12. Man oh man oh man I am so excited I am so so tired of all this snow. I live in NYC....:)

If anybody is interested in reading a great review just read Jamman54.
It has so many details about the ship. Look for it.

Thanks a bunch Jamman54 this is by far the most exciting review I have ever read. I felt like I was on the cruise with you and Patti, thanks a million..
-
Just remember that only one person has to purchase it in the particular cabin. Not everyone has to buy it. With one person everyone in cabin is covered.

Hi Jamman54, I simply loved your review. The other day I was looking for it to send to my daughter and I couldn't find it. I wanted to ask you about Cabana #4 I rented one for Half moon Cay, is 4 near the food and bathroom I had a total knee replacement and it is very difficult for me to walk. In your opinion which one would be the closest to the BBQ. Thanks...

Best thing to do at Margaritaville is absolutely nothing. Just walk to pool early pull a lounger under a tree and nap your heart away. Then sit and enjoy the show, people watching...
