Seaweed? In the sea? How horrible. I hope they give everyone refunds. Next thing you know, there's going to be problems with sand on the beaches if they let this get out of hand.

Not sure if that's what the OP was talking about though. Sounds nasty - smells like sulphur, messes with newly hatched turtles, etc.

The GF works a few piers away and every picture she's sent me since 27 opened has Princess ships backed in. Most other lines appear to nose in like the RCCL ship tonight.

You will be amazed how fast the time goes by on the BVE. Especially if your guests have never been on a cruise ship.

This is so true! It's a lot of fun though.

The GF's best friend was ready to run down at the first announcement. She was scared that she'd be stuck on a late fall cruise to Mexico LOL!

That was awesome.

And she's gone. We'll miss looking at her.

It was so warm today! I think we hit 74°? Brrrr! We can see Miracle's whale tail from our couch :)

My plan was to drive down the hill, take pics of Miracle, drive along the waterfront, pick up the girlfriend at Pier 15, and take the dogs to the beach at Crissy Field as Star Princess sailed out under the Golden Gate.

Since the port strike is over, Star left almost on time and screwed up all my plans :o

If you're referring to the spaces right next to C752 and C753, those are staircases normally off limits to passengers, but they let you use them to get to the muster drill.

we will have 1700 in june, can you tell me how the balcony is? is it really small and cutoff? seems that way on the pics of the ship. is there any chance you have a photo?

The balcony is enormous! We had 1400 once and it was awesome. On my phone now but I can post pics when I get home tonight.

And, as said above, 1400 and 1700 are very quiet - no noise from above.
