  1. ...Talking about eating though....Let me insert here that the food on board these two weeks was about the best that we have had on our cruises...

We had exactly the same experience when we were on her last month 2/14-2/21. The food was fantastic in every venue - easily the best of any cruise we've been on. We're still talking about it.

Thanks for the review. What a great ship and crew.

  2. we are elite passengers and to be perfectly honest, although we love Princess, we hated the caribbean princess ship. We were on a full ship and found the atrium area with the cafe, the vines and the shows were always crowded with no seats available. We enjoy the vines for a bottle of wine before dinner and couldn't go there as people were sitting there ordering nothing but using their laptops. The ship is way tooooo small for the amount of passengers.

Oddly enough, we had the exact opposite experience on her a couple of weeks ago. It was the least crowded voyage we've ever done. Never waited for anything anywhere on the ship. Not even the tender in Belize.

  3. Hope it's found.

Losing your wallet sucks. Came home from a camping trip once and couldn't find mine. I only used it once to go buy firewood from the camp host. Cancelled all the cards, went to the DMV for a new license, etc.

Found it rolled up in my tent when I went camping again a few weeks later

  4. Enjoy your cruise.

    Congrats on the booking. :)

    Thanks!

We usually book at least a year in advance. Now we've got only 45 days to go LOL...kinda freaking out. Don't know where anything is! Snorkeling gear, little Belkin USB thingy, fancy clothes I wore on our last cruise, etc. Got the wrong size Timberland flip flops for Christmas that I have to exchange. Gotta pick excursions. Oh, the pressure! :D

  5. By the time you cruise in February, the fog issues should not be a problem so you should have a great cruise. We love the CB ship.

    eclue:rolleyes:

    I hope you're right!

It's weird. When I was young, my Dad owned a cargo ship repair/maintenance company on the Houston ship channel and I don't remember fog being a problem...and I used to go to work with him a lot. Hmm.

I hope you have great weather and a great cruise! I just did my first Western Caribbean itinerary and greatly enjoyed it!!

p.s. Austin is a great place for birthday fun. :) Love that city!

Couldn't agree more. Growing up in Houston, my Mother's parents lived in Austin so we spent a lot of time there. My Dad now lives just north in Georgetown, but I'm sure we'll spend some time in Austin. Can't wait.
