Nassau and Falmouth... Talk about the worst itinerary ever.
That did make me laugh :D
-
They sure do - a few options :)

Wine packages available as well.

Geez, tough night for the big girls. Hope everyone involved is okay.
-
We were just down there last month and it was plenty warm. Loved it!
-
If you are interested in this you really need to get with Princess or any cruise line for the pricing.

...and the remaining 99.999% of us will read about it like little puppies watching bacon come off the grill :)
-
The older we all get, the more likely we will begin to lose our hearing. Maybe that will help :p
-
They sure do. At least they did on Caribbean a couple of weeks ago.
-
I'm curious as to the overall condition of the ship. We're thinking about a cruise on her next year.
We were on her two weeks ago and she is in excellent shape!
-
we are elite passengers and to be perfectly honest, although we love Princess, we hated the caribbean princess ship. We were on a full ship and found the atrium area with the cafe, the vines and the shows were always crowded with no seats available. We enjoy the vines for a bottle of wine before dinner and couldn't go there as people were sitting there ordering nothing but using their laptops. The ship is way tooooo small for the amount of passengers.
Oddly enough, we had the exact opposite experience on her a couple of weeks ago. It was the least crowded voyage we've ever done. Never waited for anything anywhere on the ship. Not even the tender in Belize.

That's really cool. Thanks.

meta stands for?I believe meta upgrade means you go up a full category e.g. oceanview to balcony, not all the nonsensical categories-within-categories which aren't really upgrades.
Nailed it :)
-
As others have said, it's totally normal - just gotta book another one so you have something to look forward to.
-
Yep, you can just call Princess and request "no upgrade" or "meta upgrade only".
-
We were on board last week and there were no specials, incentives, discounts, etc. There is no reason for them to offer such things. If you need to be connected, you'll pay.
-
Just got off Caribbean yesterday. No lounge chairs on Caribe.
-
The GF will be upset with no Alfredos. She loved that on Grand to Hawaii :o
I'm packed!
-
Only sailed on Grand and Star before because they sail from here in SF, but we're on Caribbean this Sunday. How does she compare to Star and Grand in terms of things like central staircase, closet size, dining venues, etc?
I should start packing
-
I'm not a fan.
-
Hope it's found.
Losing your wallet sucks. Came home from a camping trip once and couldn't find mine. I only used it once to go buy firewood from the camp host. Cancelled all the cards, went to the DMV for a new license, etc.
Found it rolled up in my tent when I went camping again a few weeks later
-
We'll be there a week from tomorrow for the first time - thanks for the tips!
-
Glad to hear you had a good time! We're doing that one in 11 days :)
-
4.7? That's like a little earthquake fart :p
-
Enjoy your cruise.Congrats on the booking. :)
Thanks!
We usually book at least a year in advance. Now we've got only 45 days to go LOL...kinda freaking out. Don't know where anything is! Snorkeling gear, little Belkin USB thingy, fancy clothes I wore on our last cruise, etc. Got the wrong size Timberland flip flops for Christmas that I have to exchange. Gotta pick excursions. Oh, the pressure! :D

By the time you cruise in February, the fog issues should not be a problem so you should have a great cruise. We love the CB ship.
eclue:rolleyes:
I hope you're right!
It's weird. When I was young, my Dad owned a cargo ship repair/maintenance company on the Houston ship channel and I don't remember fog being a problem...and I used to go to work with him a lot. Hmm.
I hope you have great weather and a great cruise! I just did my first Western Caribbean itinerary and greatly enjoyed it!!p.s. Austin is a great place for birthday fun. :) Love that city!
Couldn't agree more. Growing up in Houston, my Mother's parents lived in Austin so we spent a lot of time there. My Dad now lives just north in Georgetown, but I'm sure we'll spend some time in Austin. Can't wait.
Just back from 14 day B2B on Caribbean Princess

We had exactly the same experience when we were on her last month 2/14-2/21. The food was fantastic in every venue - easily the best of any cruise we've been on. We're still talking about it.
Thanks for the review. What a great ship and crew.
