  1. Absolutely. We do it all the time. The butler is usually the most important person on the ship when we cruise.

Awesome! We are also going to see the Illusionairum. I heard the food is so so at that show. I will have to ask for something tasty to be waiting for us when we return to our cabin.

  2. I booked a Haven cabin and have the UDP from the last promo. I heard you can have food from specialty restaurants delivered to your room. Is that correct? Would I be able to ask my butler to have a meal from Cagneys or wherever in my room at like 7pm waiting for me when I got back from port?

I have the Haven spa room and for some reason I really want to come back to my room get in the hot tub and eat a steak or something. It's my vacation/honeymoon don't judge me. :D

  3. Go for it! You would get all three offers, which for a 7-night cruise is worth $1450ish. The $300 OBC and the dining package are worth $540 alone and the few drinks you do have tip it way over. Remember, it includes soda, juice and non-alcoholic cocktails as well as spirits, beer and wine up to $10 a time, so it's amazing how quickly it adds up. I'm not a big drinker and my wife rarely drinks at all but it was fun trying out a few new things and just relaxing knowing it wasn't increasing the bill.

I found that my thinking changed too. Instead of just ordering what I know I'd like just to make sure I didn't waste money (both drinks and in the restaurants), I was able to try other things too. For example, when you're paying $30 to eat in Cagney's, the obvious thing to do is order steak, which is wonderful, but on the last night, I ordered the lobster tail and shrimp linguini, which was sublime!

you convinced me! I changed my promotion.

  4. What about NCL grooms?

My fiance and I are getting married on embarkation day. We figured if we got married at sea no one would come. I thought that was a great idea, but she didn't agree with that.

As far as being rushed I think it is more then enough time. Plus we will have several more days to keep the celebration going.

  6. I can't speak for Royal Caribbean, but my last cruise was on a Carnival ship. I was with a party of 10 and the travel agent screwed up our dinning and 2 people booked with someone else. We were all supposed to be eating together but that all got screwed up. The first night we spoke to the all and powerful food guys and they took care of it for us so everyone got to sit together.
