  1. not silly at all. my husband has one hand,so needs(prefers) to have headboard on right on entering. someone reminded me on cc that plumbing is together for every two rooms. look at deck plans, starting from end. imagine, plumbing to inside to attach to next cabin..then go down deck to your cabin by twos. no flames please.probably not clear but trying to help/..... [,,,,,br/br....][....br/br....[cabin.br/br.cabin] bath usually opposite headboard.

  2. No problem i hope you have a great cruise we tried something different this time and went for a porthole cabin on upper deck we have always been on empress except for the time we had a suite

  3. I had a specific reason for asking, Actually,my husband has one hand, and was wondering which wall headboards came from,so as to our placement relative to his comfort.(needs right hand to outside of bed) just wondering. no flames please:):(:):)

  4. any noise from above? was there a lot of foot traffic in the hallway at night?

please tell me which way the bed is positioned..(head...left to right, when looking from door to balcony,:D or reverse. My husband always has to be on a certain side because of missing left hand...Some cabins we have been in were great..he was by window...otherwise I wake him up at night on trips to br.lol...just asking. no flames from other members, please. thanks:):)

  5. Personally our group loves the elegant nights... it harkens back to a much more civilized time, I think that's something we need more of in the world. The world of manners, of please, and thank you's.

I know we're all on a cruise as a vacation, and I wear shorts 90% of the time on the boat as well (except when we did Alaska!), but the MDR should be a step up. You wouldn't dress like a slob going to a decent restaurant on land, nor should you on the ship.

Again, just an opinion and everyone is entitled to their own... this is just mine.

SLOB?? that is not very nice when people on this board are just voicing opinions.
