  1. I am sure many of us have seen shorts in the DR on Elegant Night as the dress code often is not enforced. It does not bother me if people wear nice shorts. I was questioning whether it was actually printed in the Fun Times and was in fact a new policy. It appears that the dress code printed on their website (no shorts on Elegant Night) is still the official policy. I would doubt any Cruise Director would independently change this policy and print that change it in the Fun Times.

Well, the idea was fun while it lasted.lol Everyone have a great cruise!!!!

  2. Well, I guess everyone has their own opinion.... We have sailed the Fantasy several times, and loved it. There wil always be small things not to your liking..on every vacation..everywhere. Maybe a good attitude

is needed to have a happy cruise. There are always land vacations, which could be more private, or other cruise lines that may be more to some folks liking.

For us and our family, we will enjoy our vacation cruises on the Fantasy, and will ignore small stuff that happens..even crying kids, tipsy

    cruisers,happy people,angry people,,,whatever....smile at an angry person..you might make their day.:D:):D

  3. Taking grands on their first cruise, wondering if we made a good location choice.lol, too late now. Muster station not a concern, just curious.last three cruises, our muster drill was on lido...went well, except for just a few that talked during the whole thing...aahh,well,was a great cruise. We enjoy reading your reviews and comments. K

  4. Just wondering if anyone has been in cabin e221 on the Fantasy recently?? Is this a good choice? We were hoping to be more midship, but at short notice, this is one of the few left. Also had to have 2 side by side cabins for grandchildren. Any info appreciated. Also, where is muster station for this section of cabins? thanks:):D:D

  5. I agree, Sokate is terrific. We were in u140 in May.Great cruise, except for the 50mph winds the first 36 hours:eek:.Well you cant have everithing!!!We will be sailing on the Fantasy again in december. We enjoyed the mdr,but also the outside tables just off the buffet area. Comedy shows were great, and the other shows were good.We enjoyed the food, except maybe breakfast in mdr:eek:.again, you cant have it all.We chose your time dining, and that worked well for us.Never waited over 15 min., and always had a two-top!!:D. room location was perfect(in our opinion)...close to stairs,laundry(3.00-wash...3.00-dry---take quarters),very quite.Wishing all good cruising!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. I understand there's a long ramp to board Fantasy in Charleston. Are there any alternatives for the handicapped? I'm not sure my DW could hand the ramp. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
