So the 2 nighter was just to even things out with the chartered days?
Yes, and the charter companies both canceled so it really made no sense to send it out for 2 days in between two canceled cruises. Hopefully the one on the 29th will still go.

BTW, Solarium Bistro is closed all week for dinner, so it started getting weird yesterday. Crew seemed very disorganized when we boarded. GS had long lines all day and well into the evening.
I can certainly understand why Solarium Bistro is closed for dinner. We went there once on our December 12th sailing and I think we were the only ones in there (maybe one other party). No point in keeping it open for not too many guests.

Do you know whether or not the Diamond Club was open for evening cocktails?
It was open on our sailing on the 12th but the drinks come from your 4/5/6 allowed. The room is very small and gets crowded. We opted for other venues for our pre-dinner cocktails.

One of our favorite spots on Harmony is up by the Wipe Out bar in the chairs overlooking the aft view.

Marc Walker announced on that other site that he will be joining Mariner on January 15, 2022.

We had one on Oasis. We loved it, but we don't have a problem with stairs at all. Love having two bathrooms and a great desk. The only issue we had was that the internet didn't work at the desk (I work from the ship) so I had to work on the sofa. First world problems 🤣
We loved being up on the 17th deck with very easy access to the suite lounge and Coastal Kitchen. Give it a shot!

Vouchers are redeemable all day in the bars (most); restaurants and also in the DL. Daily allowance does not roll over if not used; and if you’re at the bar past midnight you’ll be using the next day’s allowance!
I thought that would be the case. We just got off Odyssey on Sunday and my husband bought drinks after midnight and they still showed up on the day before. It was fine though, we sometimes didn't use all of our vouchers.

Following up on the rescue operation.
Everyone from the yacht was brought aboard. They now have to meet a coast guard vessel sometime during the night, and transfer those rescued to that vessel.
Shortly after they brought the people aboard, all the lights in the yacht went out.
Evidently, it must have been taking on water. The captain announced the yacht would likely sink by morning.
A few more pictures of the operation
I wish the iPhone was a little better in this kind of lighting
I don’t believe it was the yacht that was in trouble. We think the yacht was the first to assist and that it was a very small sailboat that they were assisting. That is the vessel they left to sink.

With that said, we can book a CP Balcony (7 day) on Wonder for the same price as an interior (8 day) on Odyssey. Thoughts?
Thanks in advance.
Based on the price I would go with Wonder but, we are currently on Odyssey and absolutely loving it. We have only been to the pool once (also not pool people). We aren't "wild" either but have had a great time doing bumper cars and playing soccer billiards. For things to do, you can't go wrong with Odyssey either. Lots of bars/pubs/music halls, etc.

We will be on the ship with you. Can't wait.

I hope not! Maybe they are still shifting people around....and waiting for last minute cancellations.
All of the GS's are gone now but there are still 56 JS's left so I'm still holding out a little hope. 🙏

Locking the ability to update doesn't really indicate good or bad news these days. Some have had them locked only to receive the 'you didn't win' email. Others have won.
I wouldn't give up hope, though. Some have been notified as close as the 2nd day out from sailing. Hope you get it! 🙂
I have bids in on that sailing too and both my JS bid and my GS bid still say "pending". I think we got overlooked all the way around. 😞

I don’t think she has. My only drawback to this cruise is fingers crossed she’s still in the fleet in 2023. What did you book? We booked the 9 day spain and Portugal followed by the 10 med.
I booked 10 night Western Med followed by 7 night Eastern Med. We'll see if I keep it. Something more enticing may be released. We had a great 12 night that was canceled in early 2020 that I want to hit most of the same ports, but with cruises not going all the way to Venice anymore, it would likely take a back to back and a couple day stay to see everything we wanted to see. This B2B adds in some Greece thereby eliminating the need to do an additional trip. I was originally going to look for something similar in the fall and follow it with a Transatlantic so, when those are released, these cruises may lose out. We'll see.

Booked a B2B on Infinity. Now I have to decide between that and an already booked cruise on Oceania. I was able to snag what used to be an aft CC now labeled an SV.
I just did the exact same thing. Do you know if Infinity has been refurbished inside yet?

Are you on the ship right now? If so, how many people are sailing this week?
I am not on this cruise. A friend is and posted that there were 1,161 passengers this week. The 6 night cruises tend to have more each week than the 8 night cruises. I don't know why that is but....

For the Oasis class, our preference is Harmony. We prefer the room layout over that of Oasis and Allure.
For the Quantum class we have only been on Anthem. We go on Odyssey next month so that will likely end up our favorite because of Playmakers and Giovanni's.
For Freedom class we prefer Freedom probably because it was our first Freedom class ship and it was in Port Canaveral at the time (our home port).
For Voyager class we prefer either Mariner or Navigator mainly because of the full glass balconies.
No real preference for Radiance class and have only been on Enchantment in the Vision class.

Just curious. Post re-start, what is the FASTEST someone has been notified of an upgrade. We did it twice before and were notified within a couple of days that we had won our bid. We are cruising in October, put in a bid in late August so was just curious.
TIA

Does anyone know if the person that started this question was able to get test back and board. Wish they would come back and let us know what their status is instead of leaving us hanging..

Is there a date when Wonder is scheduled to leave France yet?
