  1. You say RCI is not one of your favorites? Which do you like more? Just curious.
  2. They are on Cruising Power now. No Transatlantic scheduled (at least not yet).
  3. That was well worth the wait. At work reading this and everyone wonders why I am sitting her chuckling away. Thank you for coming back!!!
  4. We've done it twice. Once just as a couple and once with a group. It was much more fun as a group. I think they brought us everything they have available. We probably won't go back unless we have a group.
  5. I've had this happen every time I take a cruise. I called Crown & Anchor and they said to go into my settings on the C&A login site and delete my number, reenter the number and voila, the cruise points are added. Hope it works for you.
  6. Wow. We were on the same cruise and had a totally different experience. Our room was immaculate (must be the attendant). We commented on how much we love the older ships because they have so much storage - so many shelves and such. We were surrounded by cabins full of children, but being the week after Easter, we totally expected that. The only place we experienced heavy smoke was in the casino. I didn't go in there often as a result. That is just my opinion. Not faulting your thoughts.
  7. It’s probable that no dining plans are available for your sailing yet. They are usually available not much more than a year out. As for soda, Royal has relaxed its policy and usually allows this in your carryon. Hope that helps.
  8. Are you selecting the option on the right (You Pick your Room) as opposed to the option - We Pick your Room? That may be why you aren't seeing the room availability.
  9. Deck - 11 Cabin # - 11198 Class – Sky Suite S1 Starboard or Port Side - Starboard Bed near?(balcony or bath) – Facing the sea Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – Not connecting. Very quiet. If on Balcony, we could hear into the connecting rooms if their balcony doors were open. This room was directly off the elevator banks but never heard any noise from people coming into the hallway. Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Looking forward you could see the track for the Magic Carpet. Wasn't a problem at all. Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal size balcony for an S1 but it was large. We did not request a lounger as that would have crowded the balcony. The regular chairs were very comfortable. Was wind a problem? No If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? N/A Any specific problems with this cabin? The bathroom door magnet was so strong that it would make a loud bang when being closed. We ended up putting a wash cloth on the top corner which reduced the noise. Any other comments? We got this room on a Move Up offer. I couldn't be happier with our decision. It was a great room in a great location.
