Maybe it's the law and not alcohol content. Then again, why would any responsible adult...nevermind, I just answered my own question.

They must have turned out the lights and relaxed the dress code since last Feb. Tank tops may have been seen but they are not approved. People have no class and will wear what they want as there is no dress code police at the door.
-
Good idea about cutting through...I recall doing that (cutting) on either Carnival or Norwegian last winter. With auto/sliding doors it was a timing issue to maintain your pace.
-
Thx all. Guess I'll find out for sure on Feb 16th.
-
We are also on the 16th sailing. See you there.
-
Haven't seen a deck plan that clearly indicates if you can walk uninterrupted around this ship. Is that possible?
-
Y'all will be thanking us in the coming months when NCL revamps its pricing and promo policies because we went to bat for you.
-
Large pizza: Not the same. You wore the boots.
-
DirtyDog: I agree, nice response. In my case it's not the promotion I desire, it's the large reduced pricing I wasn't afforded when I booked. Best Buy, Sears, or anyone else would match the best price around in the form of a rebate, or store credit.

The Everglades are worth seeing.

Garycarla - too funny but I would add 'why' in addition to 'how'. 😊

You will get no sympathy from the regulars here. I for one feel your pain. I intend to put a dent in their lack of empathy/concern of which I will not explain here. I won't get it all back ($$$) but I'll feel better on the cruise. Loyal customers who feel mistreated and taken advantage of will find alternative vacations. NCL knows when to raise and lower pricing, offer promotions, etc. In an effort to maximize capacity/profits. We can play the game as well, once we know the rules. 😊

Education please: After viewing a photo how do you return to the thread to view the next photo or to continue reading. My back arrow returns me to the top of the thread and I have to go find where I was. Clear?

No offence but read you contract. Is this what it say? A deal is a deal when you clicked the I Agree check box.

You folks must all work for NCL or don't care how you spend your money.

So why do u think your entitled to a reduction. If you bought a new car and trid to get the reduction offered 6 months later u and i both know what there going to tell u.

I wasn't buying a new car, I am buying a trip that has yet to take place

and the advertised price has changed. Therefore I expect to get the latest, lowest advertised price.

Inside. Other rooms can be higher. Thx ilovesailing for the practical advice. Of course they are trying to fill the ship.
-
The room next door to ours dropped another $100 p/p overnight making it $600 total less than we paid. I want some of that back in my pocket. I'll let you know if I get it.
-
It's been said before, Curacao!
-
Hey Mug. Why shouldn't you benefit from the reduced rates as well? Gary...huh?
-
Our Feb 2nd cruise dropped today to. $400 less than we paid. NCL is doing next to nothing for compensation except higher deck upgrades. Is anyone getting better than that?
-
It appears NCL is reducing rates for this cruise but is not compensating existing 'paid in full' customers except for room upgrades on higher decks. Is anyone getting better offers?

If you cruise on the Dawn for no other reason than listening every night to Jose and Patty, you won't be disappointed.

On the Star last Feb. Archie the CD was superb. As for the entertainment, don't remember. But, I'm not one for getting to excited to often. Entertainment quality is usually in the eyes of the beholder. Yet to see Norwegian entertainment that was awful or unacceptable.

Before your review comes out are there any other tips we can be alerted to? Looks like we have a full house coming up from LA to Miami on Feb 2nd.
