I found some online reviews after posting this, doesn’t look like it’s that much cheaper to book outside of celebrity..

Will be in Cozumel this week, looking at the above excursion and wondering if any of you experienced Celebrity folks have input? Was it worth it? How far is the trip from the port?

Will we be able to board as soon as we check in?

With the caveat that I’ve not done a celebrity cruise, a 4 day celebrity is significantly more expensive than a 4 day carnival, I can’t imagine it’s the same crowd. Interestingly - 7+ day celebrity cruises are very close in price to every other line, sometimes much less when you add on alcohol to the other lines

This will probably be the last cruise we ever book that’s under 6 days..

Just a quick 4 night cruise to dip our feet in the celebrity waters. We’ve done carnival a lot, royal once, but splurged on the next level experience. We couldn’t be more excited. My wife and I work extremely hard, so for us a vacation is just sitting around in the peace and quiet and enjoy some warm weather and fruity drinks. Our last few carnival cruises were OK, but honestly it’s to the point where every carnival cruise feels exactly the same as the last one, plus the rowdy crowds.. Unless I am horribly wrong and the celebrity experience isn’t what we think, we’ll be booking next our next cruise while on this one!

We aren't, never really were, and this is what we're looking forward to the most with celebrity. Last carnival cruise we were on, there was literally a fist fight at the back pool between two drunken meatheads..

You know.. I've been testing this theory a lot lately while trying to plan out next summers vacation(s) for my wife and I. With the caveat that I'm not looking at a single cruise under 7 days, I've been comparing all the major lines on various itineraries that interest me and am finding that celebrity is the same if not cheaper than the others. In some cases, once you consider the drinks/tips are included, celebrity is actually turning out substantially cheaper than the others. I've not pulled the trigger yet because our first celebrity cruise is still 2 weeks away, but I can say that if the experience is better than carnival we will likely switch. For reference, we're gold on carnival and have done one RCCL cruise before.

I'm eyeing a cruise for next summer, but have a cruise coming up at the end of October. What are the perks/advantages with celebrity for booking onboard? Thanks!

I'm in a sky suite and have an opportunity to upgrade to a celebrity suite. From what I can tell, they're all on the starboard side, opposite the elevator? Doesn't look like the balcony has any privacy at all.. Is it worth the upgrade? are there bad suites?

Ok I'm still confused on the drinks packages. I'm in the sky suite. My online cruise planner says the premium drink package upgrade is "sold out". I called celebrity just now to ask about this and they said that with the retreat sky suite, I already have the premium drink package. The website says this as well. Your post indicates that I don't get the premium drink package perks after all?

I am in a Sky Suite. I was able to get to excursions/drink packages and it looks like I have an available upgrade for 9 per person per day to upgrade to the premium drinks, which seems like something I may do..

Another weird thing - when I try to book excursions, I can't open the excursions page, it just reloads the booking manager page..

I booked a retreat cruise back in January. I'm trying to remember if we upgraded to premium drinks or not but I'm having trouble finding anywhere on the site that says exactly what drink package I have. I found the booking email I originally got and it only has our booking number, dates, and guests. Thanks ahead of time
