We have taken two cruises, and our kids were 16 and under, and have only used long form official birth certificates for all four of us and have never needed anything else for ID for the kids.

We upgraded from a OV to a balcony once, for about the same price as you are being offered, we did not regret it!

From what I understand, the quantity of FTTF packages that are available fluctuates. It depends on the number of Diamond and Platinum guests that are booked, so it changes with new bookings and with cancelled bookings as to how many they offer for sale...

I used FTTF on my last cruise on the Dream, well worth it, but I did not book my excursions through Carnival. If you do book them through Carnival, you get priority tendering, so just keep that in mind. Of course, there are other perks with FTTF that you may still want to take advantage of. There will be an announcement of where to meet, usually a lounge or theater, the night before, and as well, it will be printed in the Fun Times. If you don't have priority or FTTF, they will issue you a sticker with a number and then call groups in order.

Foster's still is the best deal, but barely now thanks to the dollar increase from 6.75 per beer to 7.75. The bucket price went from 28.75 to 33.35 in one increase!

I added the global plan to my android phone, and did nothing special or select any features on the phone itself. It seemed to work ok. The voice calls worked better when we were near a port or land, hit or miss out at sea. If I recall correctly, texting seemed to be more reliable. I had no surprises on the bill, just the $25 for the global service...

Used to be the best bang for your buck was a bucket of Foster's...

You can bring up to 12 count, up to 20 oz cans/bottles per person with you. Without the Bottomless Bubbles you can get the juices in the AM from Lido buffet, as well as coffee, and then throughout the day you can get tea and lemonade, and water by the glass.

The orange-pineapple-guava juice is really good, and only available in the morning. On the Dream though, even though they took the signage off of the machine after breakfast hours, if you remember which machine it was you used, it would still dispense the juice if you tried it...

No, I am pretty sure it is no longer available. It was just done on a few ships as a test program...

Sorry to gloat, but I can't wait!! We are going on teh Fascination again, my first cruise was on the same ship. This time, to take my daughter on a graduation trip, hard to think she will be in her senior year in High School!! From what I see, it looks like the Fascination will be in dry dock the two weeks prior to the March 28 2015 sailing.. I don't see any information on items the will be done/added, maybe too soon?

We use lanyards from home, getting GS to punch a hole in them. Nor sure why they don;t just start making them with a hole in them.. I don't like the free lanyard from the casino, it is the coiled plastic elastic type. It is all in what you prefer, having it on a lanyard is more convenient that having it in my wallet for me...
