Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We are actually coming from Brooklyn into Manhattan via subway so we were using either Penn Station or the Port Authority Bus Terminal as potential points to start our route to the cruise terminal.
  2. Hi all, What is the best and most economic way to get to the Cape Liberty Port from Manhattan. My husband and I are travelling from the Caribbean so we will be using public transport. I have been plugging in from Penn Station or the Port Authority Bus Terminal but have been getting no directions on google unless you are driving and got some info on a site called rometorio which honestly I am not that familiar with. So decided to ask in the best place🙂. Thanks in advance for your help.
  3. Hi, We (my husband, my mom and myself ) are booked to stay at the Mayflower before our Alaska cruise. Just wondering for those who have stayed here, what was your experience? It also seems to be near some key sights like Pike Place Mkt etc and shopping/restaurants. Would like to hear your feedback. Thanks.
  4. Does the port valet apply to international flights? I thought it was just a service for flights within the US. Because finding a secure option for our luggage is a major factor.
  5. Thank you for the suggestions. I will check them out.
  6. Hi, We have a late flight back to the Caribbean when we disembark from our Alaska cruise in Seattle. We are thinking to spend some time at the Westfield Mall and wanted to know what is the best way to get there from the airport. Thinking to use Seattle Express to get to the airport and use the luggage hold service (saw this on another board) and go to the mall. Is public transport, like the light rail an easy option to get to the mall and back to the airport ? Thanks for your feedback.
  7. Ok great. Thanks. I will check them out as well.
  8. Thank you for all your valuable feedback. It has been really helpful and informative.
  9. Thanks for your input. Good to know you have had good experiences. Do most of these hotels have a shuttle to the airport?
  10. Hi all! I saw this link in another post but not much feedback ( dayuse.com) Has anyone used this day service at any particular hotel, which is basically booking a hotel room for the day at select hotels? When we return to Seattle from our Alaska cruise, our flight back to the Caribbean, does not leave until 11:59 pm so we literally have the whole day. If it were just my husband and myself we could just rough it, until the check in time but my elderly mother will be with us (even though she is very active for her age) so obviously we are concerned about her comfort etc. Additionally we would of course have our luggage with us. So really wondering if it makes sense to try booking a room for the day or are there any activities or tours we could probably do to help pass the time even if we have to arrive at the airport a bit early for check in. Thanks in advance for your help.
