  1. Hi!

It is a card similar to a credit card. It is hard plastic.

There will be a hole punched in the card in the lower right corner when you receive it. That hole will allow you to attach it to a lanyard, keychain or anything else you’d like to use to carry it around.

Everyone in the stateroom gets a card, including children. You do need to take it off the ship with you, for everyone in your party. They scan it when you exit the ship and when you get back on. I would recommend carrying all forms of ID with you when getting off the ship in port.

Hope this helps- enjoy your cruise!

Edit: location of hole in card.

  2. I have the recipe and have made them at home when it’s been too long between cruises. My sons love the fruit punch that is the base and actually get Bottomless Bubbles mainly to order it. Always have to make it for them for special occasions. Spoiled kids!

Could you share that recipe, please?!?

    Thank you.

  3. To everyone debating whether the victim was a child, or asking where the mom was, these questions don’t matter. An act of sexual misconduct occurred and it doesn’t matter what the victim’s age was or if she was alone. None of these variables should shift the full blame away from the perpetrator.

  4. Of course you can. The toppings are right in front of them except for the greens they put on one of the pizzas (I forget the name). Feel free to ask for any topping combinations you want, and they’re happy to oblige. The pizza guy on Miracle even started giving me his favorite combos after a while.

    Thank you!

I actually feel kinda dumb because I’m not necessarily a new cruiser- we’re Gold. I’m not sure why I never made this connection.

  5. I have always wondered the same thing! I saw the menu but no one has ever asked what I wanted they just handed me a burger.

Therefore, I thought that you went to the topping s bar to create the things listed on the menu. Kind of like the menu was really just ideas of how to create certain things.

Thanks for asking that question! I’ll be on the Elation in 33 days. I’ll see if I can actually order one.

  6. make it in your room.i bring a small kettle and my brand of coffee when cruising.the wife loves tea.

    This stuff amazes me.

Thanks for putting all the passengers lives in jeopardy so you and your wife can have your favorite brand of coffee and tea. I certainly wouldn’t want you to go without your favorites for the length of your cruise.

  7. The metal detector detects metal. Your knees are metal, so the detector goes off. Other prohibited items such as guns, knives, etc are also metal.

You go through the detector and the alarm goes off, they have to find out why. Now suppose, despite being a "short ,fat , frumpy 68 year old woman" you are also intent on causing harm. If you were smart you would put the prohibited item on your body right near where something you already know will set off the alarm is located. So when they "wand" you, the wand beeps where expected after telling them "Oh, no bother, it's just my artificial knee." IF they then let you through without a pat-down AND you did have some weapon on you AND you carried out some heinous act, everyone would want to know "How the heck did she get through security with a weapon?"

Therefore, despite your demographic, you were also patted down to be sure it really was your knees and not something else setting off the alarm.

If you refuse the pat-down, you get to go home without a cruise.

And, just so you don't think that I am unfamiliar with the aggravation of getting patted down, I am a type 1 diabetic and have attached to my body a continuous glucose monitor sensor and an insulin pump. Neither one of these devices can go through the body scan, a metal detector or even an x-ray machine. So I have to "opt out" and get a hand pat down Every.Single.Time, I go through security. It is what it is and you just have to deal with it.

    100% correct!!!

I still don’t understand why the OP would be bothered by this.
