Did you check to see if you dock or tender? If you tender don't expect to get off the ship quickly.
-
Groryjm, Thanks!!!!
-
So far the reviews has been very positive. Does anyone have a menu that they can post?
-
Also with the Sky Suite you can also eat in Blu.

rogfam There is much more to see then beaches in Bali.
They have amazing ocean temples. http://bali.mehthesheep.com/bali-sea-temples/
They have 3 Unesco sites the rice terraces were spectacular.

Two days is not enough time and that is without seeing a beach we were fortunate to stubble across a marriage parade in one of the villages and our guide had us join in the festivities it was very memorable.
If you are staying in Singapore spend one night in the Marina Bay Sands it is an amazing Hotel with an unbelievable infinity pool, it is pricey but it costs $50.00 just to take the elevator to the observation deck if you are not a guest.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itqRB-ZSPAw more impressive then building a ship.
Thanks so much for the suggestions! Are the ocean temples and Unesco sights near the port we tender (Benoa)?

I will be on the cruise that you are asking about. Been to Asia a few times before, but this itinerary is "off the beaten path". Lots of great and interesting ports to visit. Agree with the previous posts that Komodo is must. Looking forward to seeing the dragons there!
Bali is a lot for 2 nights so we will leave the ship and spend one night in a resort hotel on the beach. Why drive around the island to look at beaches, just easier to stay there overnight.
Flights are long as you know. We live on the East Coast and are flying Emirates. Arriving a few days early in Singapore, which happens to be New Year's Eve. It should be a great experience that night! Breaking up our return with 3 nights in Dubai.
Hope to see you on board!!

Which port are you docking in, Miami or FT Lauderdale (Port Everglades)?

In my DH and my case, we paid a reduced amount about two weeks before the cruise about $700 and we were told we would not be given the suite points. I of course complained all the way to corporate and didn't get the points. Last cruise, upgraded for $400 two days before the cruise and did! So it isn't always given. if a free upgrade, I understand
I had already paid in full for Aqua Class and Celebrity dropped the Sky Suite rate to less than what I had paid for Aqua. Wouldn't let me get the discount, but moved me to the sky suite. So even though I ended up paying more for the cabin than new bookings for the sky suites, only gave me credit for Aqua because that was the category of my original booking. Called and complained, talk to the hand............!

I am also in a first time Sky Suite with questions. Do you call in room service and they contact him to bring it?
Also, I notice I get one free specialty restaurant. I want to make sure it is used for a specific restaurant vs another. Would I need to let them know when I book it?
Thank you
Dorene
The free speciality restaurant reservation can only be made when you are on board. Don't worry, space is saved for the suite guests.
-
The only cruise credit you received is for the cabin category you paid for before the upgrade.
-
No. Had asked awhile ago with Celebrity. Give all suite and Aqua Class guests Select because their computer won't let them do anything else! (Can't make this up!!) You will dine at Luminae.
-
I see oatmeal for breakfast. Is it steel cut oatmeal?
-
Thanks everyone for the excellent advice. We will be in Bali and thought it would be nice to relax at a beach front hotel for the night.
-
Will be sailing on the Millennium in Jan and would like to know if if Luminae is open for lunch on embarkation day.
-
We dock for two nights on my upcoming cruise. Planning to leave the ship and spend one night in a hotel in port. What is the protocol? Do I have to officially inform Celebrity?
-
Drink package and pick up at any bar and carry to your room. Sounds crazy that is free in aqua and you have to pay in a much more expensive suite. More of the Celebrity logic.
Sometimes logic and Celebrity is an oxymoron!

Sky on Millennium

Is in room bottle water included in the Suite category?
-
Will be on the Millennium in January and am interested if anyone can post a copy of the menus.
-
We will be tendering for two nights in Benoa Bali this coming Jan. Thinking of spending a night in a hotel on shore. What beach areas do you suggest? Hotels? thank you
-
We noticed that sometimes new water was not left if we did not use what was there, so we hid it if we had not drunk it. :)
Watch out, now the Celebrity Water Police are looking for you!!!!!

You are lucky that you have Vicki. That's why I always book with an independent travel agent to have another person in my corner in case of a problem.
-
We were just on the Equinox and had no trouble exchanging the bottle of sparkling for a bottle of red. Room stewart could not have been more accommodating
-
Blu is only open to aqua class or suite passengers.
They are very strict about dining. We traveled with friends and were in a suite, they were in a lower category cabin. They couldn't join us if we wanted dinner in Blu, even if they paid. Needless to say, we never had dinner there.
Silhouette Trip Report (Yes, that Israel one!) October 2015 (Very Long)

We just returned last week from a two week land tour of both Israel and Jordan. It was great. There was concern for safety, but we were assured by the tour company that it was safe to travel (they have had tours weekly this fall and didn't cancel one tour). We always felt safe on our tour.
We visited all but one sight including the Western Wall, Old City of Jerusalem, and even the West Bank town of Bethlehem. Even spent 5 days visiting Jordan, including Amman and Petra. We just didn't go to the Temple Mount because of the possibility of potential safety concerns.
Why did Celebrity cancel? Maybe they have more lawyers!
