When is your cruise, are you just looking to cancel all together or are you eligible for one of the offers?

I have seen a few options in the last week or so:

    https://www.carnival.com/request-forms/reimbursement-form.aspx

    This option to cancel online

Log into your Carnival account-Look for Red Banner/Flag that says XX days till cruising and click

On the top of the page look for “Booking & Order Details”, look for “your bookings”

Next to the “Paid In Full” choose “View Balance Details” and look for “View Cancellation Information”.

This is also where you should see the total that you are going to be getting for your FCC

*The most recent offer issued due to Carnival canceling, I don't have the form, it is apparently being emailed to guests affected

Seen but not sure if it's valid >>There is also a tweet from Carnival floating around that says if you made any changes on or after 3/1 we will honor the refund or new FCC offer. Please email guestcare@carnival.com to have this adjusted (email booking # and request)

Thanx much, just what I was lookin for!

  2. I keep reading with the high call volume to canx cruises using the online form, but can't find the form. Did a search on carnival's website, pretty much useless. Anyone have a link? Completely understand carnival's phone lines being swamped, but they REALLY gotta do better with their online info. Maybe that's why their phones are swamped!

  3. On Panorama in Jan, it was free for lunch + pretty much standard bbq(good, not spectacular). At dinner, it was pay, but you only pay a slight premium not the retail value of the dinner. IMO, the dinner was MORE than worth the slight fee + it was delicious! And it's done ala carte, like Bonsai Sushi, which is ALSO well worth the slight fee.

  4. BTW, couple things different + CONFUSING on Panorama. First, there's a slot near the door you're supposed to put your sail n sign (or any card) into. When you leave the cabin, you pull the card + all the lights, TV, wall outlets go off. Nice unless you've got thing in there charging. I left a business card in mine, but my cabin steward kept pulling it out.

Second, the elevators are really confusing, there's NO buttons inside. When you get to the elevator station, go to any of the columns and enter the deck you want to go to. It will assign you to one of the elevators, go wait there. Some elevator stations have overhead boards which show the decks already assigned, but not all. It works pretty good once everyone gets used to them. But, it's utter chaos the first day.

    On the Panorama

    1) was wondering if magnetic hooks would work on the cabin walls?

    2) can you only get eggs benedict in the dining room?  I know on HA  you can get them at one of the buffet stations.

    3) I really like my HP sauce with eggs/hashbrowns?  Any chance it is available at least in the dining room if not at the buffet?  OR should I bring my own?

    4) will they supply extension cords for a CPAP machine?  On a recent cruise with HA they did.

    5) can you store empty suitcases under the bed?

    6) do they have a library that you can borrow/sign out a book or is it a trading type library?

    7) do they play "scavenger hunt" games using your cell phones?

Would appreciate any answers as we are going Mar. 14!  Thanks!

Mag hooks in the 25lb range will slide down the wall, but they work GREAT on the ceiling if you're tall enough. I've got some new 60lb hooks which would work either way.

Wife + I both have cpaps. I used to inform Carnival + they'd furnish ext cords (huge/heavy/clumbsy). They's also pull us outta line every time to make us hear the same speech about cpap use. We don't tell them anymore. We both carry 12 ext cords in our cpap case. One reaches from desk plug (duplex AC w/duplex USB on Panorama) to first night stand, second plugs into first + goes under the bed to second nite stand. This also gives you additional outlets at both stands. We simply unplug the first cord during the day cuz it is a trip hazard but far less than the cords Carnival furnishes.

Empty suitcase easily go under bed.

    Yes on the library.

BTW, loved Panorama!!! Teppanyaki was fabulous, as was, JiJi's, as was Cucina capitano, as was Guy's Pig n Anchor, as was.....well, you get it. Loved the ship, loved the itinerary, fabulous cruise!!!

You can get by with just buying one.  You can only be logged in on one device at a time.  Wife got it on our last cruise.  Either one of us could log in on the laptop using the password.  When done, we'd log off.  Then she could use her cell phone by just logging in with the same password.  That worked for us.  As long as you all don't need to be on at the same time, only getting one works.

Yup, that works for us. And they even make it easy for you, the app tells you the other is logged in and asks if you wanna change devices.

  7. We're on the same cruise! We've been on 5 Journey cruises and without a doubt the crowd is older. In fact, they could call it a Geriatric cruise. There are so many platinum and diamonds guests, they usually don't offer FTTF. We've sailed Sunshine (sister ship) several times and it does get a little crowded due to the extra cabins. Never noticed it noisy.

  8. We prefer the middle or back of the ship, seems like a long walk from the front anywhere. Also, we always book YTD, so that's in the rear dining room. Once booked one of those oceanview cabins across the very front of the ship. Loved the view + almost private deck outside, but never walked so much in our lives.

Hi, I just booked yesterday for dh and I sailing March 2021. 2 at sea days and stopping in Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Belize and Roatan. Any good excursions to consider? Never been to any of these ports. Any info would be greatly appreciated

For Coz, Ruins at Tulum is unforgettable! But, it'll take most of the day, so yah won't see much of Coz. as mentioned, Chankanaab Park also a great destination. In GC, Stingray City is an absolute MUST!!! (and sampling all the free Tortuga Rumcake displays). In Roatan, no excursion needed if yah like the beach. Ride the chairlift over + back. Belize, IMO, a ships excursion is a must. Nothing really to do at the port + I don't recommend wandering far alone. If you miss the Ruins at Tulum, take the boat ride up the Wallace River to the ruins in Belize. Lots of wildlife + won't break the bank.

  10. I'm looking for a roundtrip transatlantic to Spain or Italy from the US east coast. It doesn't have to be the same cruise line. It doesn't even have to end in the same port. In fact, I could even fly to a different European departure port from where the first ends.

Basically, I just detest flying anymore + won't even attempt the long flight back. Dates are flexible, but, I ain't gettin any younger. I've looked all over, not having any luck roundtrip. Maybe there's a TA around. TIA

After getting our drinks, we went to drop off our backpacks. We have a family outside cabin, so there are two bathrooms. One is a standard bathroom, and the second has a sink and funky sized bathtub.

Hmmm, not crazy bout that sink area. Doesn't appear to be any counter space + the shelves on both sides of the mirrors seem gone also. Wife always used one side + I the other. The mini tub is nice. Guess we'll find out next month.

  12. BTW, few tips for first time cruisers. Not clock in cabin. We both take backup batteries for our cellphones which we charge during the day. Then at nite, we plug our phones into the bu batteries to charge and provide time. Use the MDR, at least for dinner, FAR better than lido buffet. We usually throw a travel mug in our suitcase for coffee. You can fill em on lido + take em back to the cabin. Take half the cloths + twice the money you originally planned. Prepare to be addicted!
