We are sailing in 8 days, no assignment yet...when is the guaranteed cabin assigned?

Emerald Princess - 14 day Dec 9 Cruise...Bid $210 per person to upgrade from Inside to Balcony, which the bid was rated "fair". Today, 18 days before sailing, the offer was declined and was given a counter offer of $65 per person for Obstructed OV. I declined that OV offer. Still deciding if I should increase the bid for balcony or just stick with the inside.

When working with NCL, when booking, you should have already told them your departure city. It should not be a surprise. For us, when booking we looked at both JAX and Orlando options and it was more expensive flying out of Jax vs Orlando.

We booked via NCL Air. We are pretty happy with our flights. We sail on May 21 for 7 day cruise from Athens. We requested a 2 day deviation. We leave Orlando thursday 5/18, arrive friday 5/19. Then have all day friday and saturday in athens. Sail on sunday. On the back end, we arrive back in port on sunday 5/28. We have all day sunday and monday in athens and depart for the US on tuesday.

Lol...mine had no brakes either. Definitely something to test next time before driving away.

Left out of Jax last week. No verifly. Just my vaccine card. Walk up to podium. Show card, boarding pass and passport. They glance at card, stamp the boarding pass and off we went. Literally 30 seconds. If vaccinated and have card, zero use for verifly.

If you are just going to the beach, then take the free shuttle. If you want to explore the island, find a secluded beach, eat some local food, etc...then the golf cart is the way to go.

Was just at Bimini yesterday on the Elation. Golf cart rental was $120 for the day (last Sept, it was only $60! We took the tram when we got off the ship. Although it goes right past the golf carts initially (at the village) the tram does not stop. It heads to the beaches first. On the way back, it stops where you can rent a golf cart. by 11am there were no more golf carts available for rent.
