  1. My dad wanted this recipe also, so I asked John Heald. He replied quickly.

    Skyy Vodka 2.5 oz

    Bacardi Rum 1.5 oz

    Peach Puree .5 oz

Sweet & Sour mix 1. oz

Pour all ingredients together in a martini shaker over ice, shake well and serve in a martini glass.

    enjoy

YUM!! I'm off to the store for supplies. I think this will be my new favorite drink. :D:D

  2. Please take a photo i.d. as well as your S&S card. I have been on many, many cruises and am almost always asked for a photo i.d. as well as my S&S card. I've seen numerous people anxiously waiting while someone ran to the ship to find a photo i.d. for them. You definitely don't need your passport, but a driver's license or some other form of photo i.d. is almost always needed.

  3. I've been on several Halloween cruises and they have been a blast. The kids seem to have a terrific time! I've only seen a few inappropriate costumes but those were much later at night. I think your children will be fine and have a wonderful time. Enjoy your cruise.:D

  4. Personally, I haven't had any problem with the A/C on the Dream. My cabins have always been as cool as I wanted them. I think where ever you are, you will enjoy it. That said, I LOVE the Cove Balconies. I've only had one since most of my cabins have been in the Spa area, but I loved the Cove even more than the Spa area. Just go and have a fabulous cruise.:D

  5. As others have said, you don't NEED a valid passport to cruise if you are a US Citizen, cruising from and to the US. However, for my own peace of mind, I'd never leave the US without one. The chances are you will never need it, but if you need it and don't have it, life gets extremely complicated. It's just a personal choice, and I choose to be cautious and have my passport.:D

  6. I've been on the Dream several times in the last year. The Spa did run specials for mother/daughter spa selections one day during the week. I don't remember the prices, but it really didn't seem like much of a savings to me. I was in a spa cabin, and spent lots of time in the spa, and saw several mother/daughter combos taking advantage of the specials and they looked happy to me. Hope this helps.

  7. I really think you'd be happy on either ship. I've sailed the Liberty, and loved her, but have not sailed the Breeze. The Breeze is a larger ship and sails from a port farther from my home. I prefer to drive to port, so I doubt I sail the Breeze until she relocates. If you are flying, either one would be great. I'd let the destinations, cruise length, and cost decide for you. Have a fabulous cruise.:D

  8. I'd probably wish you a good morning and stagger to my cabin to get some sleep after a long night.

Aha, perhaps I've cruised with you. There are always a handful of people who are just heading for their cabins. You definitely know how to squeeze a month of fun into your week's vacation. LOL Ah, to be young again.:D

  9. You will receive instructions from Guest Services the day before returning from first cruise. Usually, there will be a small group who meets and is led off the ship to go through immigration, get your new sign and sail cards, and then return to the ship. It's a very easy process and they make it as stress free as possible.

  10. I just booked our very first cruise for our 25th Wedding Anniversary on Carnival Liberty sailing to the Western Caribbean in October 2015. I have been gathering tons of information from all of the posts - thank you!

What do you enjoy most about Liberty?

Congratulations! You have plenty of time to collect information and read reviews. You've found the right place to do research and ask questions. I'm sure you will have a fabulous time.:D

  11. We're on the August 3rd sailing. What about you?

I sail July 26, so you'll be getting on when I'm getting off. I think most of your questions have been answered. Sorry I couldn't help you out this time. Have a fabulous cruise!!!:D

  12. Definitely take her! I've seen many sweet little girls (and boys) enjoying tea time with their parents. They seem to get 'extra' attention from the servers and are made to feel very special.

  13. I have a few questions if you guys don't mind helping me out:

Can you purchase a tervis tumbler from the Red Frog Pub and/or Blue Iguana Cantina? If so, do they sell out fast?

Where and when do you sign up for the Dr. Seuss brunch?

I've asked this before but can't seem to nail down an exact answer: does the Freedom use soda cans or soda guns for the bottomless bubbles refills?

Does the Freedom have those not-so-well known hot tubs in the spa area like on the Glory?

How long do the pools and the slide stay open?

I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. Never been on a Conquest-class ship! So many cruise firsts for us! Can't wait. Just a few weeks left:D

When do you sail? I sail in 2 weeks and will be glad to answer questions when I return. I know the tumblers rarely sell out so you'll be fine getting those. I never buy bottomless bubbles, but will check it out for you, as well as sign up for Dr. Seuss brunch. I've sailed the Freedom before, but they didn't have the upgrade then, so I can't answer your questions now. Just let me know if you still need information in a couple of weeks. If you think of other things, just let me know as well. I'm sure you will have a fabulous cruise.:D:D

  14. It is definitely served on sea days, but I remember it being in one of the lounges instead of the MDR. Sometimes I get confused on which ships things happened, but I'm pretty sure about the location. Regardless, it will be listed in the Fun Times. Have a fabulous cruise.:D
