I watched the spa price on epic increase from 179 (what I paid) to over $250 (can't remember the exact price but I did post a picture of it because I was shocked!). My 179.00 did not come with salt scrub lol

I was shocked when I saw that today. Should have jumped on it yesterday.

I have been debating whether to book the Unlimited Spa Pass for our upcoming trip and the price has been $199 for 7 days (save $20 if booked online) and today I noticed the price increased to $274.07. Anyone have any idea why the price is so high for the week? In all our cruises I have never seen the price that high for the spa for the week.

I would not bring a child (that is any person under 18) to this show. That said, its fantastic, weve seen it 4 times and going for 5 and 6 in may!
Its very frustrating when people bring their kids because they always end up walking out 15 minutes in and it disrupts others who heeded the advice of the box office to leave the kids elsewhere.
I agree! It's not like it isn't advertised that the show is not for kids.

At least these days the drill is conducted in the restaurants, theater and other public spaces aboard ship rather than out in the weather!:) I remember standing in the rain, or heat waiting for the no shows to show up making the rest of us stand there in a herd like cattle.
With the life vest on....:D

Maybe I got lucky but both times on the Breakaway I never really noticed smoke at O'Sheehan's, and we spent a lot of time at the railing looking down on the Atrium.
I agree. Never bothered us non-smokers at all.

My record is 6 meals in one day. Breakfast at the hotel, Garden Cafe on boarding, poolside BBQ at sailaway, early dinner with kids in O'Sheehans, MDR meal with wife, 2am meal at O'Sheehans. [emoji16]

That is something my husband would do :D LOL:p

The Epic does not have those type of cabins at the front of the ship.
Nice!

Great pics Marine mom!! Thank you!! Do you buy a beverage package? We don't drink alcohol. Just thinking I'll drink hot tea
What about thermal spa? Worth it?
I booked all my dinners for each night. I'm hoping I don't miss the shows because of our dinner times [emoji31]

We did not have drink package because we too received the suite as an upsell. We are not big drinkers so it was fine. I have never done the thermal spa so I can't comment on that. The shows were fantastic and being in a suite they have a separate area in the theatre for suites only. Most days they have two shows so you won't miss them. You will love your suite and the butler and concierge are great!!!!!

Thanks marine mom!! That looks fantastic..was this after the refurb? Do you have pics inside the room too? 9 more days!!
Yes we stayed after refurb. Room was great. Here are the only pictures I have of the inside of the room and the menu from breakfast. I also have pic of snack in our room one day. You can eat at Moderno's for breakfast and lunch (suite guests only) never crowded and fantastic food.

We upsold as well for the Feb 19 Dawn cruise! We are in 10502 so right above your room, I can't wait, but I have a feeling that it will be hard going back to our usual ocean view or balcony after this! This was a splurge for us after receiving a great medical report, so I hope it lives up to the hype[emoji4]

I chose the UBP and SDP. Those I can keep. But I wouldn't get the wifi and shore excursion credits... correct?
and I would I receive all the Haven perks? What is the service fee you mentioned? Is that the same as gratuities?
Yes, you will keep the UBP and SDP but will not receive the wifi or the shore excursion credit. The service fee is the gratuities plus I think it is $2.00 more per day for Haven. On top of that, you will have to tip the Butler and Concierge extra. They are not included in the daily service charge.

if your kids are old enough to look forward to a french-style restaurant, then they are old enough to understand that money talks.
:p:D:)

Is this offer just for OBC or do they also give the extra point?

Glad you had a great time. We sailed the Dawn last August from Boston to Bermuda and had a blast! Felt the same way as you, staff was friendly, great CD, excellent entertainment, can't wait to sail her again!!!

I received two upsells last year (Breakaway and Dawn) and did not receive the extra latitude points for the haven on breakaway or penthouse suite on Dawn.
