I have requested a box fan for our cruise on the Serenade this Friday.  I received two responses.   One said a box fan would be waiting for me.  The other said the Serenade does not have box fans, but a small fan will be provided.   Time will tell.

That's just the generic menu that was posted.  Pretty much every bar will have at least this selection. 

 

But each bar also has their own menu with specialty drinks for that bar.  Plus if the specialty restaurant has a bar you can visit it without eating at the restaurant (on Harmony this is Wonderland and Sabor).

 

The pub typically has at least one IPA..I've seen Lagunitas and Stone regularly on board.

Do they offer any reciprocity if you are Elite on Princess?

I received a reply from the concierge from the Serenade.  I was told they don't have box fans, but a small fan will be waiting for me in our room.  Our cruise leaves this coming Friday.  Time will tell.

haha...  Like anyone follows that.....

I often find walkers walking 3-4 abreast and makes it tough to get by while jogging.

We used to request a box fan for our cabin every cruise but the last year or so they have not always provided one and instead sent us an email saying box fans are allowed as long as they are in good working order.  We have just started bringing our own.  The cruise we did on Allure last year we put a luggage tag on it and left it with the porters.  It went to the naughty room just long enough for them to "inspect" it and make sure it was okay (no frayed cord, etc.) and we were then able to pick it up a couple hours after boarding.

I would love a box fan...  I like it for the noise.  It helps a little with everyone slamming there doors to block it out a little...

I'll give it a try...    It says.... and any other item that may create a fire hazard. 

I used to put one in my checked back on Princess and they called me down to the naughty room and took it.  They said it was a fire hazzard.  After that, I started carry it on in my carry on bag.  That worked sometimes...  Other time they took it....

I have not sailed on Royal Caribbean too often.  It's been hit or miss on Princess if I am able to get a fan on board.  Does anyone know if it's possible to bring a fan on Royal Caribbean??
