May I know what is your original cabin and how much more you bid if you dont mind sharing ? just for reference. Thanks
We were in a balcony with large balcony room 7654 and we bid $165 which was just over the minimum of $150. They moved us to deck 9 in the JS rooms that hold 5+ ppl.

I had a Balcony GTY on Ovation sailing on 8 Oct 2021 however all my bids were expired except for GS 2 BR says Pending. May I know when they will state whether I have won or lost? Since my credit card has not been charged yet. Thank you for all the answers provided.
Mine was accepted last Friday and we sail this Friday the 1st. I kept checking my room number on the cruise planner and saw it there first. Good luck.

Hi, and thanks for the reporting. We board next Friday. Do you know which nights are elegant nights?
Happy sailing.

If you already paid for the cruise in full, you could always take your onboard spending credit and cash it out on the boat.
So if you have OBC from a price drop you can cash it out? And if so, how do you go about doing it?

Thank you, I think I will switch to the port side and save some money for excursions.

It probably has something to do with Alaska sailings (one side of the ship is perceived more desirable) where they can call it something else and charge more.

Ovation deck 7 OV cabins are the same as other Q class but for some reason RCI decided to call them obstructed - they are not.
Thank you very much for your reply, I have spent a ton of time reviewing videos and could not figure out how one side of the ship was different from the other. It looks like the lifeboats on deck 6 are in the same spot on each side.

Good morning, Has anyone had any experience with this cabin or the one next to it #7258? We are currently booked on the starboard side in #7654 which does not show as obstructed but these two are a few hundred dollars less. Thanks in advance.

Has anyone been able to see the brunch menu? I cannot access it on HAL website.

Thank you everyone for your replies. We were assigned this cabin for our upcoming Alaska cruise next week. As the travel agent said today, "better to be above the lifeboat than in it".
-
Just wondering if anyone has info on, or experience with this particular cabin? It is directly by the elevators mid ship. Just curious about the noise and how obstructed the view is. I have done searches and cannot find any info. Thanks in advance.

Do you need Canadian dollars for the cabs or do they take credit cards?

0, leave on Harmony today!

Your delay has nothing to do with the death - that was taken care of in San Juan. The charter company loads a ton extra equipment on these ships for the parties - speakers, lights, video boards, DJ equipment. It all starts to get taken apart the night before arrival, but takes hours to unload.
Just curious what them off loading equipment has to do with us getting on?

We had the same experience in Miami this past October. We did not get declaration forms in our cabin so we were worried but breezed right through customs. Happy about the change.

I had to call the 1-800 number and mine showed up the next day, we sail 1/27/17

We are on the same sailing as you. We are happy with the change. Never been to Costa Maya or Montego Bay. Just waiting on the updated itinerary.

Thank you very much for your replies. Sounds nice. Can't wait to experience it. With the price of drinks now days this will be a money saver for me. I usually only drink a couple of drinks per night anyway.

Sorry about a silly question but I have just become Diamond and have a cruise booked. Can someone explain how the Diamond lounge works? What is it all about? Also the drinks that they load on your seapass card, can they be used anywhere during the evening and any time or just during the three hours? Any other details is greatly appreciated. I haven't been on Royal much lately and mainly remember the coupons from days past.

We were looking at the $89 package. We don't drink enough for the big packages but can probably do 18 drinks for the week.
-
Has anyone bought this package for $89? Seems like an amazing deal. Are most drinks served onboard included? Do they have Moscato wine available? I like fruity mixed drinks and margaritas. Anyone know if I would be covered with this package? Never sailed MSC for a week before.
Thanks in advance.

Any idea what status this would be on MSC match?
Thanks

I upgraded my bouquet which basically wasn't an upgrade but a replacement for the one they provide. It was $115 for hydrangeas and White roses. I really hope they are as nice as the picture TWE provided as a sample. I will find out next Sunday the 22nd. As for the cake I don't believe there was an upgrade option. They told me I could bring my own decoration for it if I wanted so I am just bringing a topper of my own. Other than that I am just bring rose petals and a few beachy decorations for my table.

Hello all,
We will be sailing on 4 nighter to the Bahamas that departs on Halloween. Any idea if they will be doing anything special? We plan on dressing up that evening and wonder if many people do dress up?
Thanks,
Joanna
