  1. They have had two terminals since 2006, when the Erato terminal was completed.

The Julia terminal was remodeled in 2011, and it received the newer gangway, and since Carnival was not showing any sign of bringing a bigger ship to New Orleans at the time they did not install a new gangway at Erato.

However, Carnival will us two terminals tomorrow when the Elation and Dream are in port, but that is exceedingly rare. The last time Carnival had two ships in NOLA on the same day was right after Katrina when two ships were being used to house and feed first responders.

Now that the Dream will be in the port, they reworked the Erato street terminal to accommodate the larger ship, and swapped the gangways around to give Carnival the higher passenger loading capability. The dedication of two ships full time to New Orleans outweighs the seasonal ships that other cruise lines are putting there.

From what the port is saying, at least my understanding that they the gangway for the the dream tomorrow

  2. We ate at the brunch for the first time on our recent Conquest sailing. It was in the Monet (aft) MDR. DH enjoyed his eggs (he said it was nice and hot), but not the bacon. My French toast covered in cereal was interesting. The French toast actually made the cereal a little soggy, but it was definitely a conversation starter! We were seated at a large table with a family of five and a father and son. Service was slow as I think they waited until the table got full to put in the order. Here are a few pics.
