Why oh why are the judges raving over Gary Busey? I can see why he picked the music from the show he did, he dances like Herman Munster would...clump, clump, clump, thud.:D
I think the judges have to be fairly nice to the people on the show, otherwise no one would want to come on and be humiliated.
Erin had on a jump suit, which I liked, but it wasn't formal wear, in my opinion.
I did think it was unfair that Bindi learned and practiced a dance routine only to learn the show didn't have permission to use the song, so they had 2 days to learn and rehearse a new dance. I would think the show's producers should have gotten permission before the season started.
I really enjoyed last season, but this season so far is just okay.

I am glad that the person who went home did. I didn't even know who she was, and since the pro with her was new, he didn't have his own following to vote. I do think a lot of the regular pros have their own fan club who vote for them no matter who they are dancing with.
I was hit and miss on watching. My problem is my husband absolutely refuses to watch, and he wanted the football game on, so I was changing the channels when they had time outs and commercials during the game. I didn't see the Emmys because of Sunday night Football.

I am so glad that this thread was started again. I really like Bindi, and think she did a great job!
I thought both Paula and Gary were complete disasters. Gary always seems like he has a brain that has been fried, but I think it is a big act. I really enjoyed last season and in the beginning I didn't think the people were all that great. My feelings are the same now, so I hope I also warm up to the folks.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for your excellent review of the Breakaway. I started out on this thread and when I saw you have arranged to have your reviews posted minus all the the comments I was just thrilled. I was thinking of the Breakaway and when I saw you had a review I just spent my Sat. afternoon reading through it. You are a marvelous master reviewer. I loved the way you described things and the photos that you took were outstanding. I have been on Bermuda cruises before and want to go again, but I think after getting to know the Breakaway that I would be happier taking the Summit next June. You really have kept me from making a big mistake if I had booked the Breakaway.

As usual, you do fabulous photos, and the Jewel is my favorite trip. I did a transatlantic on her and loved all 14 days.

I have really enjoyed every bit of this season. When I first learned who was going to be on, I wasn't that excited, but it has turned out to be really geat. I do not vote, so I cannot complain about who is sent home. I am awed by what Noah can do. He is a star in every sense of the word for his limitations Since this is also a fan based selection and phone calls count, he obviously has a lot of people wanting to see him win
Over the weeks I also have loved see the outfits of the judges and Erin. For the most part, I thought they all were attractive.
Tonight's finals were a true competition. Tomorrow night will be a nail biter.

I thought Rumer was the best of the evening, and that was really a smokin hot outfit she had on.

I don't like to be critical, but I didn't like the way Julianne looked at all. I liked her hair better last week, and her dress really needed to look more like a dress than a bathing suit. I liked the way Carrie Ann looked sitting down, but when I saw the full length dress, I didn't care for it. On the other hand, I thought Erin looked great and the outfits of the dancers were terrific.
Noah was fabulous, but eventually he will not be able to place as high as the others. I wish my body still looked as good as Suzanne Summers.

I have enjoyed both weeks of DWTS, and I think Julianne has looked so much better than last season. For some reason my computer for the past few weeks has been blocking CC. After trying lots of different fixes, it finally opened up tonight. Funny, but Cruise Critic was the only thing being blocked.
I was glad that RedFoo got the ax, even though the marks he got last night were very good. It seems strange that they have the people compete when they have already been eliminated on the books but not announced.
Willow seems much older than 14, and Rumer looks so much prettier that the photos from when she was younger. Noah is really good looking, and that was such a touching reunion. I think this season will also be very entertaining.

I read a rumor today that Chris never went back to his farm and is in California. They think he has gotten back together with his ex.
I never knew that he had an ex. They haven't mentioned that fact on the show. I am sorry that he would rather dance than go back to his farm. Supposedly it is a huge operation. I am afraid he has gone Hollywood and changed completely.
-
About Chris, the Bachelor.....He is supposed to own some huge farm and I wonder how he could take more time off to dance around when it will be time to get all the farming done. He seemed like such a nice guy when he was just a farmer guy on the Bachelorette, now that he is the star and has all the women falling all over him, I hope it doesn't go to his head and change him

I feel a little sorry for Mark, getting two young ones in a row. Willow is only 14! He'll never get to do any sexy dances. :)
I'm having trouble picturing Emma with RedFoo.
I agree with you on both.

Honestly, the cast never excites me ahead of time but I watch anyway. It usually turns out to be fun to watch because everybody is unpredictable. The so-called stars are real people anyway and are sometimes quite interesting. And watching them learn how to dance is fun.
And that's why I watch year after year.
I feel the same way...I definitely will watch and hope that I see something that will continue my interest. I like the music and costumes and hope to see some good dancing.
-
These stars do not excite me at all
:(

I think it will be hard to find a group as good as last season.
-
I hope this season will be as good as last season.
When will they announce who the "stars" are?

I was surprised to see more posts on thsi thread after so long. Unfortunatley, my husband got a new computer and all of my previous savings are gone so I can't post anything from Egon.
I did see an article about an elderly lady who decided to live on a cruise ship. However, she wanted to go on those expensive lines and it said she was paying $160,000.00 a year  I know that Egon's bills were a lot less. I believe he posted once that it was between $45,000.00 and 50,000. a year. Does anyone else remember any figures?

You take the best pictures. Thank you so much for sharing!

Just my opinion, but I didn't like that orange bar. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question, and also for posting so many good photos.
-
It looks like she got a new build plaque, I believe the original one said Carnival Destiny on it. I'm glad they just left the name off, putting Sunshine on there with the build year wouldn't have been correct.
The lobby and its bar have been totally remodeled. This is a good thing, as it is the first area most people see when boarding.
The old lobby bar
I am confused....Is the orange bar the new one, or the old one. In the photos that continue are you showing the remodeled photo first, or the old one first. I was never on the ship, so I don't know the difference.

Kerri...thanks for that info.

I never heard of Murdoch Mysteries.

I went into DWTS withdrawal last night!I really missed the show being on.:(

I thought the ladies looked lovely, and men very handsome. Since my two favs finished 1 & 2, I am happy.
I did think this was one of the best seasons.

I think they were so happy that he did improve from the first two weeks. It wasn't good, but at least it was better.
