I receive email when I Fax my request. I always print the email and take it with me on the ship, just in case. Never had a problem.

Yes

We checked in on Vista 2 weeks ago today. We did not have FTTF. Our checkin time was 12:00 to 12:30. We arrived at 11:40. There was no line. We walked right in, checked in and walked all the way onto the ship. No waiting in a loading zone. We were on board before 12:00.

Do you need or have to get reservations in advance or do you just Taxi there and show up ?

We are going to stay at the Sheraton Old San Juan across the street from the Port.

We will be at Mr. Sanchos next Friday, for the first time. I look forward to trying the Mango Margarita as we love Mango Mimosas...

I know, I know, I know.... we're supposed to be on a cruise so don't worry about what's on TV! Believe me, we will have so much fun on the Vista next week, doing all the things you do on a Cruise, but.... it's March and it's Basketball season and the Big 12 tournament is next weekend, and I'm sure they'll be showing the games.

I know they have ESPN, but most of our games are going to be on ESP2. So, all you experienced Carnival Cruisers out there, does anyone know if the Skybox Sports Bar has ESPN2?

Great Review!  It sounds like you had a great time and could be objective in your accessment.

I had heard somewhere that there is some kind of world-wide shortage in Escargo snails.  Don't know where I heard that or any details...

Now I know to unpack the hammock for next week! 🙂

We also change from Red to Gold halfway through our cruise next week. Boarding Pass says we are Gold.

We sailed Vista to ABC and had a great time. Ask away. You’re set for a fun trip. 

I second Woodwind Bonaire! 

We did that itinerary 2 years ago on a Princess ship. We've done several Princess and recently Carnival. Next Sunday we sail the Carnival Vista out of Galveston.

In Aruba we snorkeled too but Bonaire was by far our favorite snorkeling we've ever done, anywhere! I think my favorite part was all the sea turtles we saw. We took pictures but they also have an underwater photographer that took some spectacular pictures.

A couple of weeks ago we were trying to load up and they were out of both 100's and 500's for several days. We called and found out they usually have more available at the beginning of each week. Sure, enough, Monday morning, they were back.

This is next to the coffee shop deck 5. You can start checking in here at 5pm. You can also use the app or go to the dining room. At the dining room you have to wait until 5:30. If you want a specific table or server you can request that here or at the dining room but not on the app.
