  1. I wonder if they'll have some sort of smaller craft going around to the ships in the anchorage there and collect the ones leaving. Then shuttle to the Bahamas or Florida. I can't see them firing up the big ships just to drop some folks off. Maybe they'll use Cococay as a staging area.
  2. There were 9 there I believe when we were there a few weeks ago. The NCL ship was tendering near where we got off of the Allure.
  3. There is one on the boardwalk, we didn't try to use it so no idea what it costs or if it worked. It was definitely there just over a week ago.
  4. There were regular chairs with umbrellas in front of the airstream trailer bar nestled between 2 construction sites on south beach. Facing the water and looking left past the construction there looked to be some day bed/cabana type things. Not sure where the cutoff line is as it was my first visit.
  5. The tree is up and lit on allure, also presents inside the car instead of bears. Nothing on Cococay that I saw.
  6. Works fine here in the bahamas on Allure.
  7. We stayed in the Element downtown, they oversold our original king studio so we were upgraded to a two room suite. It has a full kitchen including dishwasher and cook top. The breakfast is great with continental fare along with fresh frittatas. The gym and pool are quite nice. Parking is a bit of a downside here as it is valet only. They have a shuttle but not sure if it's to the port. This is a Princess hotel and they will take your Princess bags for you but not other lines.
  8. Hi everyone, we have made it to FLL. This is our first RC cruise with our 17 month old DD. I will be writing from more of a family perspective. Traveling is much more work with a little one but we're here at harbor shops overlooking the ships. Had a delicious lunch just south of the airport at historic dockers in Dania beach. The fish dip and mahi tacos were great. After initially booking with just DW and I in an 6V interior, we decided to add DD during a kids sail free a couple months ago. She did great during a 3 night Carnival test cruise. After a bunch of crazy price drops we ended up in a 1C, the famous hump cabins. We will be on deck 12 so this will be the highest I've ever cruised.
  9. I feel like I've seen videos where the iPod dock has a clock.
  10. Did you get a new email? I try my old email link, same thing. For grins tried going to site and looking it up and it's updated there.
  11. So an observation. We have self upgraded due to price drops on our upcoming Allure sailing to a 2C. It doesn't appear that our choices in RoyalUP have changed.
  12. I've seen it on our upcoming Allure sailing as you being able to choose between neighborhood or oceanview balcony guarantees. We booked 3 of us in the oceanview balcony gty so waiting to see where we end up. Not sure how their algorithm will handle a baby as our third.
  13. Yeah we flipped everything with the propulsion woes. Dropped Roatan and added Nassau (wooo). Flipped Costa Maya and Cozumel. None of the port schedule sites I've seen updated for this and it has been that way for months now.
  14. Bad news but we'll be docked there with you on the Allure! Make that 10 ships.
