Does anybody know what time Anthem leaves Port Liberty tonight?
-
Point of clarification please. Will Jr Suites, Spa Jr Suites and Family Junior Suites now have access to Bearfoot Beach? Jr suites did not have access to BB in the past. This would be a nice upgrade on Labadee for Jr Suites.

THANK YOU. I will be on Summit in three weeks and I really enjoy a Christiania martini pre dinner.
-
I am in a suite, thank you
-
Thank you, but that doesn't really answer my question.
-
Can any recent Summit cruisers tell me if they have Christiania vodka at the martini bar or crush?

I put a luggage tag on the top and side of the case of water and then tape it up with clear packing tape. Have never had a problem dropping off the water with the porter and the packing tape keeps the plastic packaging from tearing.

Yes, the Summit leaves it's berth in Port Liberty and heads north for a photo op. It "holds" in the harbor anchorage until the Breakway approaches and then Summit spins and follows Breakway out of the harbour. I've sailed Summit three times to Bermuda and have never done this. As I stated earlier, this is the fourth week in a row they have headed to the statute for photos. The "chatter" from the harbour master and the various ships is interesting to listen to. I hope the statue photo ops continue.

This is the fourth week in a row that Summit has passed by the statue for a photo op, including last week when she had azipod issues. I hope this remains the case, I'm on her for the last Bermuda run of the season.

I love these first world problems

I have never heard of him or seen him on any of my many Celebrity cruises, so I Googled him out of curiosity and, wow, listening to him is like waiting for death in a retirement home. Glad I won't have to worry about running across him on any future cruises. And people are talking about cancelling their Celebrity cruises to follow him around?? My goodness!
Michael
WOW, you should turn in your card now.

This is the result of several issues:
1. RCCL (like all cruise lines) is a business and needs to turn a profit for their shareholders. Customers are not really a priority, profits are.
2. Lowering the base price of the cruise to fill ships "attracts" a certain demographic that results in behaviors that force a business to make alternative decisions. If they raised the base price to include all the options, the mega ships would not sail full. Getting people on board and then wowing them, and dazzling them with exceptional marketing is the name of the game.

Yes, we got the Vinum series. We were given coupons to order the glasses online after we got home. That worked out well so we didn't have to pack them for the airplane ride home.

We did this in March on the Eclipse. It was great!!! We were the only two people that signed up for the workshop so we had a private tasting. Learned a lot, had some great and expensive wines. The difference in taste from glass to glass was amazing. Really nice having the individualized attention. We would totally do it again, but nothing will beat our private tasting.
You do get 4 machine made glasses. You can tell hand made glasses because the Reidel name is etched into the glass on handmade glasses. Rub your finger on the underside of the base and you can feel it.

Does anybody know if Christian and George, the Molecular Bar bartenders, will be the bartenders at World Class Bar?
-
if you were at a hotel, would you go to breakfast in your bathrobe?
Harriet
This was simply a joke. I would never walk around a ship in a bathrobe.
-
Thank you. No eggs on the balcony for me.
Can I go to the buffet in my bathrobe?
-
Can somebody please tell me what is on the Dawn room service menu for Breakfast? I'm hearing it is limited, but I would like something more like eggs, pancakes, waffles on my balcony.

Limoguy1,
Tell us a little about yourself and your travel party. The other posters may be able to provide you with some ideas that are of interest to you. This is the 4th year in a row that we are doing Summit to Bermuda. The ferry/bus passes are available right on the pier. They are well marked, but all you really have to do is follow the growd on the first day. When are you sailing?
-
Does Eclipse have lunch in one of the specialty restaurants for suite guests? Wehave been on Summit for the past three years and they offer lunch in Normandie on the day of embarkation for suite guests.
-
Nice to see how you children have made this all about you and seem to have forgotten that somebody is have a very bad day and perhaps even a fatal situation.
Now take your time out and behave
-
Thank you. I'm sail March 15th through 29th. Hope we don't have much disruption..
-
I scene a lot of updates on the boards on various ships, but I haven't seen anything on Eclipse. Can any recent Eclipse travelers provide an update? Has construction started, will it have an early open like Equinox, etc?

As a Native Bostonian that spent his summers in Nova Scotia, the lobster in that picture looks DISGUSTING and I would beg each and every one of you to NOT pay $29 for it!!!!!!
The second picture is a Lobster, but not worth the price.
Freedom class ships

The three ships ( Freedom, Liberty, and Inderpendence) are all basically the same. I've been on all of them and other than the shows and art work they are identical. That said, I have alway had a fondness for Liberty and consider it my favorite Freedom class ship. It just has some thing special about it.
