  1. Four of us booked an inside room on Navigator Of The Seas for a girls trip.

The news has been reporting all week that sick passengers were quarantined to their rooms on Princess Caribbean and Explorer Of The Seas.

What would happen if we got sick? I am having panic attacks thinking about four of us in a small space with diarrhea and vomiting and one bathroom.

Would they give us an extra room?

I booked the room since it was all we could afford and we will not be in it much.

    .

IMO...No they won't. an inside room is way to small for 4 adults..sick or not. good luck..i hope you have a nice cruise

  2. The report out there that the sickness started with contaminated food, not sick passengers. .. and yes, most people work hard all year and save for vacation and it should be "all about me".

oh tbill....I thought you learned something yesterday with all the posts. noro does not come from contaminated food...remember? you learned that the ship was not sick until people didn't wash their hands ad made it and others sick. now you can tell your good friends that you know what happened.....they didn't wash their hands.

  3. What is the drop dead date to cancel a direct booked RCL cruise and get 100% back?

I want to see more than RCL's cryptic note about EOS on the homepage now as a guideline if we want to continue or cancel.

They originally were to upgrade the ship this winter and we would have been one of the first to go out in a refurbished ship. However, RCL decided to delay the makeover.

you do understand that even if you went on the new Quantums 1st sailing that you could get Noro? the ship does not make the people sick...hee people make the ship sick.

  4. 1. I am not trolling.

    2. I have been on 32 cruises in the past, not a 1st time cruiser.

    3. I read right on these boards that a family traveling on the Oasis a couple of weeks ago had a son who was only sick from eating too much pizza and junk. The went to medical and were told he was confined to the cabin... and they took his SAIL & SIGN CARD! I didn't make that up.

    4. The CDC report for the Explorer that is now being returned home states 577 passengers and 49 crew are sick... That is over 600... NOT 300!! That is the fact, so you my friend should get it right.. I already did!

    5. The people responding to my post are down right mean. That is really uncalled for.

    6. What should the cruise line do??? Not lock up paying passengers on vacation. How about being clean and not have these things break out every other cruise?? That would be nice.

    7. My husband had noro-virus on a cruise we were on 5 years ago. We handled it ourselves because those on our cruise that reported it to medical were telling everyone not to report it because of how terribly they were treated.

not reeportnig that you have noro is th rudest thing...... the ship did not make the people sick...the people made the ship sick. tell your husband to wash his hands so he doesn't get oro again.

  5. They might still be allowed on board, however, their axes are usually confiscated and returned at the end of the cruise, along with scissors, power strips and toe nail clippers. I have seen many threads on people swearing they have successfully used "Axe Runners" to smuggle axes on board. They hide them behind their "REDRUM Runners." :p

All kidding aside, we have participated in and organized cabin crawls. It is a lot of fun and no one is forced to participate.
