Hi Cindy, I tried sending you an email so that you could send me the pictures but I'm doing something wrong with your email address. It came back undelivered. I think it's the (dot)s. I guess I don't understand how to use the email address correctly. I'm going to be in that cabin in two weeks. I'd love to see the pictures. Please send them to me. Or if someone else that did receive the pictures from Cindy could send them to me. My email address is barblloyd23@yahoo.com
Which cabin?

11330 is 95% complete. I got to visit the cabin. It is wonderful. Bedroom has a door so it is really private as well as a door to balcony. balcony faces both the aqua pool and on the other side is facing the ocean. Great views. the ones on deck 12 and 14 are smaller but 14 has great views. I also visited the new suite on deck 17. really awesome. I promised not to post the pictures to cruise critic. my email is cmcgarrahan@sc(dot)rr(dot)com
Did anyone receive the interior pics from Cindy?

Thank you as well! I just emailed you.

Try using the search function here, there are plenty of threads on the new GSs with pictures mostly of the balconies though.

I think the first week they are available is the week of our cruise 11/29/14.
Someone on our roll call has it booked.

Yes, these rooms were available for booking in early October and yes we will be in one (11330) on the 29th of this month.

Hopefully those pics give you an idea of the balconies. Doesn't look like much shade.

That is very high. We have been in GSs on our last 5 cruises over the last 2 years and the highest we paid was 4400$ for 3 people during "high season". Just paid 3500$ for a GS for 3 sailing this month with 100$ OBC. 2 on Oasis, 2 on Allure and 1 on Indy.

We are on the Nov. 29th sailing of Oasis too. Would you want to do a cabin tour exchange? We are in a Royal Family Suite. I am asking because we have that room (11330) and an Aqua Theater suite booked in 2016 and I want to know which one we should keep. Or' date=' if you don't care to see ours would you be willing to let us peek at yours :)

I'm sure we can figure something out.

Caribsalior,
We have the same suite for next year. Could you take pictures of the balcony. From the pictures it looks like there is little shade it will be full sun most of the time.
Have fun on your cruise!
From the pictures it looks like the new GSs on deck 11 will be the only ones with any sort of "shade". I have seen a few other pics of the balcony a aside from the ones included in this thread that give a better indication of that. I will try to take some pics.

I have not bought on the ship. However I have definitely scored a few good deals on watches $5k+ in the islands over the last few years. St Martin seemed to have the best deals. Last watch was a Sub and negotiated earrings for my wife as they wouldn't discount the sub. Got home had earrings appraised for 3500$ cost me 200. So there are deals but negotiate a package deal. This was at goldfinger in St Martin

I agree with the OP. RCI is NOT a premium line. They are a middle of the row family cruise line who happens to have decent entertainment. If entertainment matters to you well good for you. To me and I am entitled to my opinion, the food, service and atmosphere are what matters. I can take or leave entertainment. I feel RCI is turning into a floating mall. As I have said before in other posts, the ONLY reason we sail with RCI is our kids.

Most of the new suite refurbishments is not finished .
I realize that but was wondering since the exterior structure of the cabins is in place if anyone noticed any overhang from the deck below on the balcony. Once in a while it is nice to sit in the shade. In other words, in these new suites is the balcony totally exposed.

Wondering what the new GSs looks like on sail away. Any of the balcony covered? Anyone catch a glimpse or screenshot? Would be nice to see!

In my opinion the best beaches are in Antigua and Tortola. If you want to experience the caribbean these are the islands to go to.

We've been to Coco Cay three times now - the tender has *never* taken 45 minutes. 10 minutes is more like it. It's a pretty nice beach though I'd recommend some beach shoes as the bottom can be rocky when you walk out into the water. Once you're in the water, though, it's clear, beautiful water and you can easily see schools of fish.
As for your OP, we've usually stayed on board at Nassau and even on Majesty, which has "less" to do, we had plenty to do. Shops were closed, but bars are open, you can do trivia, and things aren't quite as crowded. It'd be a great time to hit the pool or whirlpool or if you're on a bigger ship play some minigolf or some other activity.
The best beaches in the caribbean are in Antigua and Tortola.

What's the big deal? It's just a cabin. We will be in 11330 next week and will probably post pics when we return. I was interested in seeing pics of the cabin which Cindy was nice enough to send to see if it was a good fit for us, more importantly the balcony and the shade provided by the above deck which looks like it is minimal, plus you will have the people in the cabin above staring down at you (if anyone has been on princess in a mini suite you know what I am talking about) which can be awkward. So needless to say we will give it a go in this cabin but in the future we will probably go back to normal GS or OS for the balcony privacy. Too late to change rooms on this upcoming cruise unless there is someone out there with an OS and wants to switch rooms.
