Just be careful that you take the flyer giving the $300 obc home with you - I needed this to send to the agent at O who was insisting I would lose it if my booking was price matched to the new sale! In the end the booking was changed to the new price with the $300 intact but I had to keep insisting that she spoke with her manager- It did help that I had a copy of the flyer from my room also quoting best price until sailing date , to send to her!

Ps I think we will see good deals for some time to come as these cruise lines are BILLIONS in debt! and the rises in interest rates are not helping with the payments!. NCL has not so much debt as others but Billions anyway. The banks wont call these debts as they dont want redundant cruise ships on their hands either. As my old boss used to tell us times are hard boys -treat your customers like kings - Cause its sink or swim time!!

That is how the voucher is sold by the onboard ambassador - refundable if you change your mind -only £400 in sterling -acts as a deposit -you can change your booking once-best price guarantee until sailing date (hopefully) Also $300 obc on your next cruise or $100 on your current one. All in all a good deal as long as you make the agent play ball!!

Thanks for the insights guys I will buy a future cruise voucher on my next trip as I plan a cruise with O once a year anyway and it does give a low deposit - I think my issue stemmed from the unhelpful agent at O but in the end the cruise was put to the lower pricing a couple of k lower! although it was like dragging nails along glass with her ! So I will insist on another agent to do the booking next time and see if I can establish a better relationship. I will wait until April or May next year to see what offers they put on and at the end of the day if they are saying best price until sailing date with the voucher - insist they honor that!

L looked at the Ts and Cs but I cant see anywhere that excludes the two offers - it does mention not with o life ultimate- I tried the agents with the voucher before I booked direct - I dont know how the ones in the US are but most here in the UK that i spoke with know nothing about the vouchers or their offers! Many thanks for that I might just leave it as I work out the difference is £600 or so I notice some of the US agents advertise in the UK so i might just talk to them with my next booking and see if the result is better!

Thanks for looking for me it seems to me that the agents here are less concerned about a long term relationship with the client so I tend to book direct with the cruise operator esp after a very nasty experience getting a very large refund from one in the lock down ! This time I will make sure the onboard ambassador emails the guarantee to me in full and I will def refuse to deal with the same booking clerk at O who I am sure must be on a commission.

Im Really confused with Oceania and its pricing and offers. I bought a future cruise voucher and booked a cruise which was then reduced in the extraordinary sale event. The voucher has a best price guarantee up to sailing date but i have to say getting the agent at Oceania to honor this was at best a real battle! I now notice that the same cruise is advertising reduced prices as above and a 20% saving for club members (which we are as this is our sixth cruise ) does anyone know if these offers can be combined ? I dont really want another battle with the agent a O again as I find her a bit off putting- tho I will buy a voucher again on the next cruise but will ensure I dont book with her again . Any help/views appreciated
