    Hi Dmsw.

my mistake on my earlier reply.

On previous cruise holidays people have collected their baggage and jumped into taxis that are outside the airport terminal and made their way to the port, only problem with this is if there are any unforeseen problems on the taxi trip the ship will not wait for you.😳

And, don’t forget, if you do decide to take a taxi, let the cruise rep know. I remember, a few years ago, the coach we were on, waited at the airport for about 30 minutes because some passengers had not informed the rep. A few unhappy bunnies that day.

We are really missing our cruises, four a year minimum, but think at the moment far too many hoops for us, as oldies, to jump through hope it will come back but it may be a bit late for us. We may be booking something for 2023 with our vouchers but flying is a definite no no. Good luck to everyone who are booked.

Hear hear. Absolutely  agree. I so miss my cruises. As a solo cruiser I enjoyed meeting others, and of course, the wonderful crew. Hopefully, in the next year or so, I will feel comfortable enough to make a booking.

Does anyone know of coach operators that have a Birmingham to Southampton cruise terminal itinerary.?  The usual go to coaches (inter cruise ) are not available for the Marella sailings and I can’t find any alternatives.

    Thanks in advance.

Have you tried National Express? They may not go to the cruise terminal so you might need a taxi for that last bit.

For one moment i thought you going to talk about the (G U T)  in Malta say no more.

Before I knew him, my late husband had served in the RN and sometimes mentioned GUT. He reckoned he was was banned from Malta. This was in the 60’s and early 70’s.

He also showed me around Gib and had many stories to tell.

Gibraltar remains one of my favourite places and hope to cruise there again.
