We cruise a lot, and I am a casino member rated Prime with Casino Royale. I intentionally did not book a "comped" cruise, but chose to pay for the B2B in the Med next month because of the fact these cruises are so port intensive, and I did not want to "mess up" my casino offers with less than normal play. My question is last time we did this a few years back (pre pandemic) we got an upgrade to a balcony cabin when we arrived. Now that they do the "bid up" processing to upgrade, do they still sometimes just upgrade folks, or is it no bid, no chance of courtesy upgrade?? Just asking. We are good with what we get, but was wondering since there are obviously many cabins better than we paid for being offered in bid up options. TIA for any info on how this works since the "bid up" program started.

Wow! There seems to be many more of us than I would have ever guessed going both ways. We will be spending 5 days exploring Spain and doing B2B on RCCL to/from Barcelona the other 14 days. Booked the Grand Suite on an awesome casino offer going over, and balcony on the way home since all the suites were already sold out. Excited!!!!!

We have not cruised RCCL since COVID shutdown and will be on the Wonder of the Seas first time in April. We have always bought the Ultimate Dining package, but it has REALLY increased in price and my question is, has anyone that has bought it sailing on the Wonder had difficulty getting a reservation with the ship being so huge? Obviously, the ships we have sailed on previously are much smaller. We were on the Mardi Gras last month, and specialty dining was VERY difficult to get if you were not willing to eat at 9pm (which we are not). We normally shoot for the 5:30 dining option when it is our choice. Any and all feedback from the Wonder experience would be most appreciated and help us make our decision. Thanks in advance.
