Quick Question!
Do you still get the envelopes at the end with the vouchers if you use auto-tipping?[/Q
Just got off the "Brilliance", and they had the envelopes (two) on the last day of the cruise, even with the auto-tip.

Just got off the "Brilliance" this morning, and I must say I was not impressed with the live bands. Just about all stated late (after 5:00 p.m.) most were without any singing (boring). So I'm on the Majesty in two weeks and hoping for better luck. Any classic rock groups/70 & 80's? Any recent cruisers with any info greatly appreciated.

Tomorrow, on the Brilliance!

Appreciate your "slice", leaving on the Brilliance in two days, for a short 5-day cruise.

Disregard

I've been on the Liberty three times within the past six months, no doubt, good times, great shows, fabulous staff. Will definitely be back on her again!

29 days, on the Brilliance.

I was on the "Liberty" three times in the last six months, just love it. (I just got off the "Glory" this past Saturday & it wasn't the same or even close!). Enjoyed the Liberty much more and looking forward to be back on it in the near future. The welcome aboard show was just great! Comedy shows , just super! The show "JUST ROCK" is a must see, you won't be disappointed. The live music was awesome!

I just got off the ''Glory" Saturday, purchase the cheers package @ $301 & change, total with the 15% tip included. I was never avoided by any server due to the package, but I did tip extra, and I notice by doing so, whenever I came back for a drink, they remembered and I was serve very quickly.

Just off the "Glory" this morning. I also will not be sailing any Carnival cruise that Eversen is the cruise director, He is very much into himself, big ego! Constantly rambling on! As for live entertainment, I was greatly disappointed.
Acoustic tunes by Angie, she belted out her songs, instead of just singing them. I felt the same way with Nicholas, two that should find another career.
I was on the Liberty last month for the third time, and thought the entertainment was much more superior then on the Glory! But that's just my opinion!

My first time on Liberty was this past May. I was so impressed with the entertainment (live music, shows) that I just completed my third cruise on that ship in just six months. And I'm sure I'll be back on the Liberty a couple of more times being she re-positions to San Juan. But for now, tomorrow I'm on the "Glory". Living in central Florida we have five cruise ports all within a two to three hour drive in any direction, so we can enjoy the cruises more often than most.

About half of my cruises I have purchased a beverage package on Carnival & RCL. Now that the price decreased quite a bit it's a no brainer for me. My next cruise is this Saturday, and of course purchase the package (I get my money worth). As for an additional tip, I'm guilty. I have noticed that by tipping a bit extra, I'm not waiting for my next drink (Keep in mind I'm at the bar enjoying the band). So I appreciate that effort by the staff. I also have a soft spot for these hard working individuals working 10-12 hours days, seven days a week so they can support their families, who are most likely back home!

I travel solo on most cruises and I usually find the best prices just two weeks to two months out. You need to be flexible on your time in order to take advantage of some good to great solo rates.
-
I have use the passport card for some 10-12 cruises, never a problem. I like the convenience size, fits in your wallet. I know others are "what if" happens, well I don't worry about "what ifs".

I was in cabin 6202 on the Liberty, same class ship. The only seat I had was the little stool that was under the desk, no other seating! No chair/sofa. I traveled alone so it wasn't much of an issue, but with more than one it could be! Sorry, no pics!
-
These decks are on 6 & 7 of the "Conquest" class ships (may be on others, don't know), but since I had a cabin upfront on deck 6, I found the deck to be a great place for pics going into the ports. Very few people go out there. On any day there are no more than 6-8 people out on the deck.
-
After some checking, I was in cabin 1419 on the Riviera deck & 2214 on the Main deck, I notice both of the cabins mentioned is just up the hall from that, I don't believe you should have any issues unless your expectations are high!
-
I was on the Liberty in April, May & this month. In April I was on deck 1, and in May on deck 2, not sure of cabin number, but I did not have any issues what so ever. No problems at all & the cabin housekeepers were just super,

Booked a inside qty, got my cabin assignment just three days before sailing. I was assigned a 4J cabin on deck 6. Those are window with obstructed view just below the bridge.

I'm not a platinum or diamond, but just you're average cruiser, just got off the Liberty this morning, by 8:00 a.m. in my car and off, and I wasn't parked at the port. (shuttle). I've been on the Liberty a couple of times, and always very easy to disembark the ship.

As a solo cruiser I did like a certain cruise line, but once they raised their solo rates I went to their competitor, and I'm glad I did. Much lower rates and still a great atmosphere, if not better. While many like "their points", I would rather know I'm getting a good deal.
-
Within the last six months or so Royal's solo rates are just terrible! I had some good rates before that, but recently I have abandon ship on Royal. I went with the competition and I must say I'm glad I did. But in closing I did find a great solo rate on the Brillance for this November (Got it about four months ago). It's a five day cruise out of Tampa, going to Cozumel & Grand Cayman, for $372.00 total with $65.00 obc, but I believe those days are gone.
-
I'm reading that the 4J goes fast, but not always, I booked an inside four weeks ago and I was assigned a 4J just three days ago (I sail tomorrow). I !believe I got a great deal

For the frequent cruiser, (not once or twice a year), many purchase the stock for the "benefit", not just an investment. No matter how you slice it they win!
Roast Beef?
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
I've had the roast beef on a few occasions (Enchantment/Brilliance), and being from the western New York area where roast beef on kummel is very popular, I haven't had a decent roast beef on a ship that's to rave about! Highly overrated, lot of "grizzle/fat", and also not well done.
