  1. I have cruised with Royal on six occasions and very much enjoyed the experience, but being a "solo" cruiser RCL has raised their rates so high for us "solos", that I decided to give Carnival a try. Well I'M glad I did! Much more bang for the buck! Larger rooms, better prices, love the comedy shows and a much more diversified crowd. Been on the Carnival Liberty back in April of this year and then the following month. I was so impressed with that ship I'm back on it in 10 days for an eight day cruise! Go for it, you won't regret it!

  2. Of course this has always been a subject of great debate, but only you can make the determination on the cost of it. I myself did my first cruise with just a birth certificate, then I got a passport card. Did with it for almost two years, then I also obtain a passport, only because of a possible transatlantic. But I never got carry-away on what could happen!

  3. I've been on the Liberty twice this year, and I've noticed the TV's on several different sporting events each time I went there. Also outside of the lounge there is an electronic board, stating the programs that will be shown each day.

  4. I'm going to have problems getting any deals at the moment. I am having disputes in the office about when I can take leave.

I may well take both of my pensions next year and find some part-time or contract work. I may then be able to take cruises when I want them!

I did just that! I left my job six years early, (took a big hit on the pension), but I have back what matter the must, MY LIFE. I never looked back with regret. I do on-call work around my schedule, not the employer.

Life is short, don't regret the time you loss.
