  1. The Q&A section of Carnival's Norfolk Statement hints that they will also return to Baltimore, although it doesn't give more specific information.

Agree....just off Pride and a travel agent group was on board who commented that they have been told to expect a ship back in Baltimore during summer months atleast. This would jive with Norfolk's May/Oct transistion cruises as a ship would move from the NE to Florida for winters. I know just heresay and speculation, but I love the idea.

Whoo Hoo.....May 2015 College Graduation Trip.

  2. If Splender is like Pride, yes, they can be opened since on this style of ship the partition is anchored to the balcony rail and does not have the potential to block a door. On other ships, like Glory, it depends on the position of the doors on whether they will open them. We never had a problem until this last Glory cruise where they refused to open them. Customer Svc said no problem, housekeeping refused after 4 trips to Customer Svc, we gave up.

  3. Since this seems to be a YMMV kind of situation I thought I would ask here. Have any of you ever brought a fan on board the Pride? I really need moving air to be comfortable and I was worried about it. I read on John Heald's blog that you can bring a fan, but I've been reading that people were having their fans confiscated on other ships.

    Has anyone had any luck?

I have brought a small clip on type every cruise without issues. Maybe lucky?

  4. Mine is Scott perry 4th district here in pa. You can find yours at www.house.gov. If it isn't listed on their tours then email them about it, it wasn't listed as one of the tours offered but I contacted him and he was able to help me out.

Thanks, mine replied that the service is no longer and I mentioned that was not the case. They asked for which district is still able to get these tickets so they can see what they are doing wrong.

  5. Just an idea for u if you are trying to save money while in port canaveral and want to see Kennedy space center. I requested passes for the space center thru my congressman it took about two weeks after I requested them to hear back but we got our request for 4 tickets granted in January. Then I found a company that will pick us from port and drop us back off, the cheapest I was quoted was $161 plus gratuity round trip and that was for a 8 people. Hope this helps someone. My mom hasn't gotten confirmation yet so hopefully she will in the next couple of days I would much rather pay $25 per person to go then whatever carnival charges.
