Fellow cruisers, do you recommend Carnival Triumph or Carnival Elation and if willing, please tell me why you recommend that one.

Elation, the triumph feels too crowded.

My wife and I aren't worried.

 

Just like we weren't/ aren't worried about Swine Flu, Ebola, or West Nile.

I am not that worried about the zika too much, but I did worry about Ebola. My husband works in west Africa lol.

I am doing this itinerary with7kids in October. Keep the suggestions coming, esp for St. Marteen and St. Kitts.

I had that happened to me once....they said it was for a towel that i did not take. I told them that i did not have it and they told me not to worry about it. Problem was solved with a 3 minute phone call

I am going to call them today. Hopefully they have an answer lol

These are not US registered ships and therefore don't have to follow any US law or code. I say call Carnival, ask for a supervisor and plead your case...NICELY!

Yep I asked very nicely and used a cruise credit that had almost been expired for a year! Just have to ask nicely!!! Ask for a supervisor!

I haven't paid yet, but I didn't make any purchases that morning and I never even took the towels out of the room. I told the lady on the phone I wasn't paying anything until they could tell me why.

I went as a Carnival Cruise excusion guide for cave tubing--complete with a fake nearly naked thonged butt! I had made an excursion sign copied from the website excursion for cave tubing and had on a swimming pool tube. Hilarious. I was picked to go on stage--because of the fake butt.

 

The winner was a macho guy in a bikini bra top, swim coverup skirt and a flower in his hair with full makeup calling himself Marcie.

 

There was a group of a zombie wedding party who spent 3 hours on very elaborate makeup and they were mightily ticked when they didn't win.

I can understand being disappointed but mad..... I am excited though!!!

I just got an email from carnival saying I have a balance due of $34 for a cruise I recently went on. The email doesn't say anything else. Just shows my booking number and balanced owed. The last day of the cruise, before I got off the ship I went to guest services to take care of my account and I had only owed an additional $1.35. The guy laughed because and told me next time if it was under five dollars to not worry about it. I called carnival and they don't know what I owe for, just that it shows a balance due. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Hey guys! I am planning a carnival cruise on the sunshine for my husband and I and our 9 kids. We leave on Halloween. Is there trick or treating or anything like that onboard? We already have costumes and stuff. Do they have any costume contests?

I love Carnival right now! They just approved a $300 cruise credit for me that had originally expired almost a year ago. I just called and asked, and they were like sure, we can make an exception. I originally had booked it within the correct time frame, but because of a tropical storm had to cancel that cruise and rebook! They have made my day!

People with babies and kids need to be aware , that the cabins walls are thin and the crying and loud voices can be heard thru the walls , We did get a 20% discount on our next cruise after we had a baby cry every night for 7 days

:DBlue's Long Island Iced Tea my fav!!! It's on the rocks and strong! Twilight Zone is frozen and delish also just not as strong. From my experience the frozen drinks are less strong
