If the tendering process is so onerous you can stay on the ship. We often do.
-
Perhaps some passengers would be willing to pay a fee for the right to take on the role?I don't believe that would be practical on Celebrity due to the staff cutbacks. -
Make sure you specify tap water. Otherwise, they might freeze up some seawater for you.
(Which might actually be a good thing if you want to keep a bottle of bubbly cold in an ice bucket.):p

Look again. Equinox has Martini Bar & Crush on deck 4.

... only once did we have to wait at Luminae (the first night) and the Maitre-d' escorted us to Qsine and "treated" us to dinner there (the food in Luminae was much better).
Yuck. I'd go to the buffet instead.

It's easy to chat between tables in Blu because they are very close together.
-
Plus I also like starboard as it a odd number of letters and port is even but the cabin numbers on the starboard side are even??
I've long wondered why the odd-numbered lifeboats are on the side with the even-numbered cabins and vice versa.

Frustrating? Absolutely!
Reason to Cancel? No Friggin' Way!
Who knows, Celebrity might someday decide to deny boarding if the cruiser's ID doesn't contain the "Jr" that Celebrity's incompetent IT department added to the name. Why take such a risk?

I have the problem too. I stopped using my login and made a new one with my DW's name.

I wonder if you can get a 5 for $18,900 deal.

I have read in a couple of places that the LCG is only open for lunch on sea days but it sounds to me like that isn't the case from reading here. So should it be available every day of a 14 night sailing for both lunch and dinner (other than embarkation and debarkation)?
Lawn Club Grill serves dinner every night. They may do 1 sea day lunch, or maybe a couple of lunches during a long Transatlantic.

Or as X puts it, "Wow, we could end up with a lot of onboard revenue from guests trying just a few things with that menu!!"Wow, you could end up with a sizable bill trying just a few things with that menu!! -
That'll be the day.Perhaps it's time for Celebrity to rethink this venue, maybe replace it with a brewpub, an ice cream parlor or some other dining spot. Maybe without an extra fee. -
I agree. We've lunched at Bistro many times, but only when we've purchased the Ultimate Specialty Dining package which waives the fee.Our Hotel Director on the Equinox (Jamie Petts -- loved him!) said Celebrity is struggling with what to do with the space to make it more appealing and profitable. He said the sushi concept has been met with mixed reviews, and it's about 50/50...people either love it or hate it.Just my opinion, but I think one of their problems is the price point. I think there are a lot of people who might otherwise eat there that bypass it because of the $10 cover charge. Psychologically, the double digit figure makes it seem a lot more frivolous.
I even thought the fee was too high at $5.

You'll need a very long cord if you want to plug your phone into your wall charger at home while you're on a cruise ship. We're packing to go on our very first cruise! Ocean Princess, Alaska. We are also new smartphone users, iPhone 5s. We can't figure out why everyone takes phone chargers. We just plug ours into our wall charger at home every night. Will e not be able to do that on the plane and cruise ship? -
Huh? All the M-class ships had Martini Bars from the day they were launched. The Martini Bar is my favorite place to hang out since 2004 when they changed the champagne bar on the Connie to the first Martini bar. -
My issue with Bistro is the ridiculously slow service. Every time I think they've gotten as slow as they can get, they end up proving me wrong.
-
For me, I'd take Ultimate Dining over MDR every day and twice on Sunday.
-
Yes, you can use OBC for Ultimate Dining.
I highly recommend the package and all the restaurants except Qsine.

Tuesday: Sausage goes in left pan, Bacon goes in right pan.
Wednesday: Sausage goes in right pan, Bacon goes in left pan.
Aaaaahhhhh!!! My cruise is RUINED!!!! Where's my compensation?
-
Ultimate Specialty Dining package. $29 per person per night. Can't be purchased ahead of time, only on board.
-
I am on the Reflection in May. I keep reading posts about the unlimited dining package however I don't see this option offered when viewing the dining packages. Is this not an option any longer?
It's only offered on board. Ask for it at one of the many tables hawking specialty dining reservations.
-
Can vampires cruise on Reflection? It would be ironic if the Reflection lacked mirrors.:p -
Not by bedside. At the desk. There are 2.
Depends on the ship. On Millennium Class the outlets for the bedside lamps can be used for other things instead.
Slushy Drink Menu - is it on all ships??

We enjoyed Slush several times on our Equinox cruise last week. The Golden Colada was my favorite.
