  1. I also agree. I worked in marketing for another type of entity and the emphasis was always on getting new blood. Do people really think that cruise lines have not studied in depth all the pros and cons of offfering cross status? If it was in their best interest, they would be doing it.
It's my impression that many posters think the lines put little thought into any of their decisions.
  2. Great idea!!!

But that still isn't good enough. Each stateroom must have it's own laundry facilities. Why would I want people looking at my dirty clothes in a, horror of horrors, COMMON laundry room? I don't take my clothes at home to a public laundry - why should I have to on a cruise ship??????

Until they make the changes, I'm immediately cancelling all my Celebrity cruises. I'm on the phone right now booking on Princess because, as we have been told, "Princess really rocks when compared to Celebrity in the area of laundry", and I have some laundry I need to do right away so sure could use their Rockin' laundry facilities. :D

    Excellent idea!
  3. Honestly, I am starting to get a little worried about this Cruise. So far, the negative answers to the coffee cards and self-service laundry really dissapointed me. However, tried to keep a positive spirit and went to the link provided to check the non-alcoholic packages but...... the soda link sends me to a completely irrelevant page, and the water package link gives me a Not Found Error. Nice..... Travelled with RCCL and Princess so far, and this is the 1st time I am truly worried about the upcoming cruise quality. Strike 2 for Celebrity.
I would cancel if I were you. Why worry?
  4. Honestly, the situation in the OP seems to me to be almost the same as going to the Martini Bar and ordering a virgin martini, or maybe asking for a vegan prime rib in the MDR. Sometimes you can't just leave the main ingredient out of a recipe.

  5. Hello from someone who is not the sharpest tool in the shed, digitally speaking. I use the Tripit app to organize reservations, appointments, tours, etc and really like how it keeps everything in order. But am I going to be able to use it while we are actually cruising? I use it on my Android smartphone, not a tablet. We never use our phones on board because we don't want roaming charges. I am contemplating printing everything out, because I don't want to rely on data that I can't get to once we are on board. Thanks for you help in advance.
Why don't you take your tablet somewhere out of wifi range right now and see if you can still use Tripit?
  6. We recently sailed on the Solstice and purchased the Ultimate Dining Package, is this package offered on every Celebrity ship? I am aware there are only a limited number, but we are sailing on the Reflection in February 2015 and seeing the prices are higher it seems in most of the restaurants I didn't know if it was offered at all or for the same price? Thanks in advance.
We've had it on Summit and Equinox, most recently last month. The price has been $29 per person per day every time.
