A note of positivity here. We were supposed to depart yesterday 12/16 with a pre-cruise tour of Machu Picchu before boarding the Moon on 12/21 in Lima. Due to the political unrest, the pre-cruise tour was canceled because of concern for the safety of the group. We were given the option of staying at the Westin Lima for 5 nights with will room and meals included. Silversea said they would provide tours in and around Lima if possible. Since the tour was the main draw for us as we had been to most of the cruise ports before, we asked for a refund on 12/14. The full refund for the tour and voyage hit the Amex Card last night. Yes, we were surprised if not shocked!!

That's weird. D2D should include flights, hotels, and transfers which is what my website shows. We're booked on this voyage as several other Cruise Critic Members. There is a roll call already underway!

Does anyone have a recommendation for shipping their baggage to the ship? We are sailing from Lima in December after a pre cruise tour of Machu Picchu.

The first voyage sine the revamp just started 5/28 in Athens. I’m sure we’ll hear something in the near future.

Thanks for the heads up. We are flying through LHR to Lisbon next month to board the Wind. Read your issues with the Lisbon Airport. Can’t say I’m excited about a 2.5 hour ordeal.
