  1. OMG you guys thanks for the comments and feedback! :D Y'all are great! I'm so happy you guys are staying entertained. I've been working on sorting, uploading and resizing my next group of pictures for the last 2 hours, while also trying to eat dinner and do laundry at the same time. I would respond to everyone's comments tonight, but that'll have to wait until tomorrow. It's either that or work on the next installment, and I figured you'd rather me get on to the next chapter. So here we go! :D

GA Pearl - what a wonderful and refreshing review. I am still laughing over your comments, but all in all it's a wonderful review. Sorry for crashing in, but after reading your review I'm hooked. Keep 'em coming, looks like you had a wonderful time.:D

  2. So we are about to book on the Sunshine next year, I am looking for some advice/opinions. We can either book a Balcony on Deck 8 below the Lido, or and Aft Balcony on Deck 5. What would you choose?

I'm actually booking a cruise on the Sunshine next year with DH. We are leaving on March 30th out of New Orleans. Personally I think that I would choose Deck 5 balcony, just my opinion. My reasoning would be the noise form the Lido Deck would probably be too much. Again just my opinion, but hopefully others will weigh in on this and give you other suggestions.

  3. Thanks for reading! Typing as fast as I can, lol!!!!

I would love to be on a cruise with you as you are truly a bundle of energy, but not as much as Bruce (CD). He would have me tired out for the whole trip. I love your review and look forward to reading more. Hubby and I are scheduled for the March 30th cruise out of New Orleans on the Carnival Sunshine next year. We are EXCITED and can't wait, but we have a full year to wait. Oh well! :(

  4. So last night when I was writing this my five year old got really jealous and was like, "why are you still obsessing over that stupid website. The cruise is over! You need to tend to your man!"

I looked him straight in the eye and said, "you're not going to make me choose between you and my family."

Then he rolls his eyes and says, "What are you doing, anyway?"

I say, "I'm writing a review of our cruise from my point of view."

He goes, "Well, you better not be on there talking about me and calling me a five year old."

    Silence.

Then he says in his creepy, "Carrie" movie voice, "They're all gonna laugh at you."

And wouldn't you know it I was thinking to myself all night long that people were going to read my review and be like, who is this Oreo person that beats children, verbally abuses her husband, and uses coarse language? Release the hounds!!!!!

But then I woke up, came to work, signed on, found my post and I saw all these nice comments. Whew!! You do like me!! Thanks, family!!:D

    Kids, need I say more!!!!

  5. Jim,

    Thank you.

I see that you're doing Breeze next year in April. We're sailing her in March / early April and I might do the bloggers cruise solo if Mach ever emails me back details.

I'd have to say Liberty's 2.0 improvements were an improvement on an already fine ship and she also seemed to run a lot smoother even though I wouldn't have called our previous sailings rough. It seemed like there was zero vibration where there used to be a little at times.

You have done an excellent job on your review. I'm impressed with your pictures (awesome) and also the description of what' you're doing on vacation. I was greatly surprised to see a picture of the Destiny as she was sailing out. DH and I are scheduled to cruise on the new revamped Destiny, which will be the Sunshine next March. The countdown is ON!

Now back to your great review.:D

  6. Nanvybaby - I just love the adult areas on the ships. DH and I are going on the Carnival Sunshine next March and can't wait to relax in the Serenity area (adults only area). I hear they have three levels for just adults, so no kids allowed. BTW, folks don't get mad at me, I love kids, but mine are grown and out of the house. I just don't like the rude, loud, and annoying kids that run all over the place.

  7. My first 7-day cruise was on the Carnival Pride to the Mexican Riveria back in 2008. I was playing the penny machines and was about to give up when I decided to play $20 on a dollar machine. I pulled the handle maybe three times before I hit $300, and for those of you that know on the cruise ships they still had the coins dropping into the hopper, so although it was late at night, and not too many people there it made a lot of noise. Hoping to get lucky on our cruise in November.
