  1. Photos from Stardust Lounge. The four person tables and selected two person tables could accommodate 100 guests in Supper Club but they are not filled 100% since restart. After Stardust Rolled out seating was great than 100 guests before room was update during dry dock to accommodate for staging items needed for the Supper Club. Keith On this cruise Supper Club is offered two times with the second one tomorrow on the third formal of this cruise. Keith
  2. Greg, glad you two booked this cruise. Keith
  3. Enjoyed a nice day yesterday. Shortly before we arrived to port, rain stopped, sun came out but still windy. In time, less wind. Three other ships with us. Like some we made it a sea day. Town was very crowded and there was no need for us to get off. With better weather we enjoyed the things we like to do outside including Paddle Tennis (me), walking both of us and chats with guests and members of the crew. Dinner was back at Waterside. Food, service, ambience wonderful The food is better than ever IMHO. Today's Daily Program Reflections. 9F1772E3-E025-4E67-8B87-C1D3ED8E73FA.pdf This Evening's Waterside Dinner Menu. 4. Let me add to this. I recommend arriving in your workout wear. They ask that everyone sign in when you enter the center. Two types of bikes. Stationary bikes. Like all equipment ideally people are asked to limit use for 30 minutes at a time unless someone is waiting. Often they are not all in use. Sometimes they are. It will vary by overall occupancy and time of day. There are also indoor cycling bikes. One can use them anytime and when there is not an indoor cycling class easy to use. For the classes sign up sheets are put out several days before the class. Keith
  5. Ivi, for the last several years of old Crystal they had them on Holidays Cruises and the long voyages so not something you'll see often. Keith
  6. I posted this on my live thread but thought I would start a separate thread to make it easier for people to eventually search this topic. For those of you who have asked whether or not Crystal would have a Grand Gala Buffet or a special Brunch this is very similar to what used to be done in the Crystal Plaza. A little less variety and in Market Place but the food looked great and it was very well done. Cheers, Keith

  8. +1 Patty. I know several who do this. Keith
  9. I know some ask about what games are in the library. Some have been checked out but this shows some of them. Inside some of the cases are Mah Jong and Deluxe Scrabble. Happy New Year. Keith
  10. Happy New Year from Serenity. Keith
  11. Happy New Year from Crystal Serenity. Welcome 2024. I would like to wish each of you a very safe, healthy and Happy New Year. May 2024 be the best yet. I went ashore in Grenada yesterday just for a stroll around the town. Enjoyed the rest of the day on Serenity as we closed 2023 and welcomed in 2024. I can’t think of a better way to end the year and welcome in the new year than to be sailing on-board either Crystal Symphony or Crystal Serenity. In today's Reflections Program it shows a New Years Day Buffet in Market Place. As they have been doing themed buffets there I expect something similar which is great. The start of 11:00 AM is good recognizing we arrive to port at Noon. Happy New Year Cheers, Keith Reflections. ReflectionsJanuary1.pdf Today's Waterside dinner Menu WatersideJan1.pdf
  12. I love the idea of two celebrations and the plate is superb. Keith
  13. Thank you Ivi and Happy New Year. If I am remembering correctly I believe someone said around 550 but I might have that confused with the cruise after that. It might be less than I am thinking but not more. Keith
  14. Ray and Ann. Not sure who Crystal uses. TA could ask Crystal. We haven't stayed there for many years. In the past we would recommend King George Hotel and Intercontinental (Club Floor) but like I said it's been a long time and I haven't looked at reviews. Keith
  15. You could have two appetizers and some people ask for two entrees having it all or asking for half portions. They will accommodate most requests so I am sure you could taste more. Keith
  16. Thank you so much. Most times the deck is dry but early in the wee hours of the morning it can be wet as they are hosing off the upper decks and there are times they hose off the promenade. Pool area deck will get wet early too when they are hosing off the deck above it. The reason for the three formal nights is because it is a Holiday Cruise including having formals on Christmas Day (some years eve) and New Years Eve. Normally for this length of cruise there I would expect two formals. Happy Holidays. Keith
  17. Today's Daily Reflections. Tastes Menu. Waterside Menu for this evening. Second of three formal nights this cruise. Menu looks fantastic. Keith Reflections.pdf DEF528FB-2FD2-436C-9B4A-7EE5E2B93340.pdf DinnerMenu12:31.pdf
  18. Can you believe this is the last day of 2023? It's been a very memorable year, including the restart of Crystal. The first walk I take around the ship the past couple of days is walking the pool deck and the wrap-around promenade deck. Some people ask if there are lounge chairs and tables with shade. A few of these photos show this. There is shade on both sides of the pool. One side smoking is permitted and the other side it is not. We arrived to Barbados at 8:00 AM yesterday morning. I went ashore. We have visited Barbados many times and enjoy this island. In years past we have visited the Nidhe Israel Synagogue, formed by a Jewish Community in the 1620's. One time we were welcomed inside. We have also visited St. Michael's Cathedral built in 1628. St. Nicholas Abbey and viewed from outside the Parliament Building. We were docked much further from the terminal, and this involved along walk just to get to the terminal building with shops. From there I made his way out and where there were lots of taxis inside and outside the terminal area. He headed to the walkway to walk and run with the sea and beach on his right and made his way into town. On his left were many familiar buildings. Once in town I strolled around. A shuttle was offered by Crystal for those who didn't want to walk from the ship over to the terminal. It was a hot and humid day In the morning but later in the afternoon there was cloud cover with some wind and it cooled off. Dinner last evening was at Tastes. I enjoyed the food so much that I forgot to take photos of most of the courses. Cheers, Keith

  22. Some photos from around Serenity including the Promenade Deck, Paddle/Pickle Ball Court, Palm Court & Children's Area. Dinner was in Waterside. Anne Marie and I each had Wiener Schnitzel for our entree, but mine is the one with an egg on top although you might not know with the spots which are pepper. LOL. Cheers, Keith
